Hey, Selena, how were your martinis? I prefer a vodka martini over gin. A dirty Texas vodka martini is the way to go as far as I am concerned.

Marcie - I do full leg and bikini at the same sitting. The two together cost me about $75...I think they gave me a deal since I did them in the same sitting.

So today I have to take off work early. Last night when we got home from seeing my parents new trailer, we saw Sable's eye really red and swollen. I wanted to rush her off to the emergency vet, but Chris made me wait. Later on in the night her eye went down and wasn't as red so I wasn't worried. This morning we wake up and her entire face is swollen and almost doubled in size. We thought she has an allergy to something, but nothing has changed. Someone today at work mentioned that maybe she has an infection due to the stitches that were put in a little under 2 weeks ago...so now I am really worried. Her appointment is at noon today so I will take off at 11:00.

Hi guys, it is crazy around here. Picked up our trailer yesterday and when we were pulling away I got a phone call to tell me that my SIL was in the hospital with internal bleeding. They don't know why. This is the SIL that we just moved over the weekend. It hit her VERY hard and fast. I still need to call there today and see what's up.

Just popped on to tell you how sweet my DH was today. Last night, my stomach/back started hurting bad and I could not sleep. Well, I am already exhausted from working so much so now I am really tired and the pain was still there this morning. When I got to work I called my gastro and asked them if they will order blood work for me to see if it's my pancreas. I haven't heard back from them yet. Anyway, my DH is leaving today to go out of town for work and he took me to lunch before he went. I get in the truck to go to lunch and he has a bottle of Dolce & Gabbana, Light blue, perfume and a card. It was so sweet, just what I needed to make me smile. He told me he thought about sending me flowers but he wanted to do something different, to cheer me up. Still waiting to hear from the doctor but I smell good and I have a big smile on my face while I'm working.

BTW - My nephew got his chest tube out today (finally!!!) and they are hoping he can go home tomorrow. He told me he can make it down the hall (with a walker) now. He has alot of rehab inhis future!

Marcie - that is so sweet of Dane. What a nice suprise. To me, those little suprises mean much more than flowers because flowers are so predictable.

Well I took Sable to the vet and they treated her like it was an allergic reaction and gave her steroid shot and anit-histamine shot. We have to give her people Benadryl. They did do blood work and are checking her thyroid to see if that had anything to do with it. If her face doesn't go down, then they want to to do a biopsy of the skin. This has been a very expensive month for us for vet expenses!!!!

Heidi, poor Sable. If it helps any sometimes dogs do have weird things that happen and then the vet had no real clue what was going on.

Did I miss anyone? Where is Cristi? Lulu? Robbie?

Good morning. We went to a tasting last night and it was a lot of fun. Nothing better than free food!!!! The area was beautiful and if the price is right, maybe we can have our wedding there. I have to call the lady today to set up an appointment to tour their gardens.

Vermouth
Vodka (instead of Gin)
and, where you use olive brine for a dirty martini, you use jalapeno-stuffed-olive brine for a dirty Texas martini.

We received our Survival Kits from DCL yesterday, one for each of us, and can you believe that all three CDs were broken? The good thing is it doesn't look like they have changed the CD at all so we have the ones from our last cruise.

We did have fun last night at the tasting. I sure hope that Stacey can continue coming even though she's moving. Heidi, don't forget to email that lady so she will contact you with more tastings at Hudson Gardens. This one was pretty cool because the tables were all set up different and the center pieces were different to give you more ideas. We even had a special guest at our table. There was a guide dog in training. What a cutie!

Jrsy, at least you get the CD's. We have yet to receive ONE!

Stephanie, what good news about your nephew. Sounds like my SIL is headed home today. It was a viral infection that they don't know where it came from. At least the cancer wasn't reoccuring!!
