I have eaten once at the Dairy restaurant. Not even sure if it is around anymore. I have been to Dino's a couple of times as well. I know that Colfax is going through a rehab and not sure if the restaurant got bought out. (that would be my Dh's job if it did so you can blame him!)

Congratulations! I proposed to Tammy 14 years ago today, which is also her birthday.

We were pretty pleased with how well our roads have been cleared in Englewood, then we went over to Tammy's parents' neighborhood in Centennial and the roads were an abomination! From the news, though, it sounds like we may be one of the few locations that had their roads cleared fairly well. I'm hoping to get some pictures from our house up this week or next weekend.

Thanks for the input on Dino's, Jrsy. I always get it confused with another restaurant right there. I haven't been there forever. In fact, I didn't even realize that it has homemade pasta. YUMMY!! You are so lucky about your roads. My DD lives in Highlands Ranch and theirs are HORRIBLE! Worse than ours. Did you hear that another southern storm might hit us again on Thurs aft and Friday. I just don't know where we will pile the snow.

Stephanie, Heidi's twin sister had a Disney wedding but here in CO. It was very subtle. I think CC would be great but would cost lots of $$$$. Hey I know, anyone want to contribute to Heidi's CC wedding fund? lol

How he did it: We were opening presents from eachother on Christmas morning. I was sitting on our kitchen chair and he was sitting on the floor. I wanted him to open his last present but he wouldn't, he kept insisting that I open mine...I kept telling him to open his last gift but I finally gave up and opened mine. I opened the first box (a pampered chef box lol) and inside it was another box, then another box that I opened was the box from the jewellery store. I looked inside to see NOTHING!!! I panicked a little bit thinking he got ripped off and he didn't check to see if anything was in there when he picked the gift up. I looked confused at him and he was on his knee with the ring. We both started crying and hugging before he even asked me and I said yes!!! I was shaking and crying all morning!!!

The ring: Very very sparkly and very clear almost completely colorless. It is a solitaire with white gold and the diamond is a round cut...but I guess it has more facets cut into it then a normal diamond does and thats what makes it so sparkly. He didn't like the setting it came with so he bought one that he liked...he did a very good job and has great taste. I think I am still in shock.

We talked a little bit tonight about when we want it and we both agree in the summertime. If we do it this year (2007) we were hoping for August but then we couldn't go on the cruise with my sister...so then we thought maybe June of 2008...so we don't know yet. We both want to go to Hawaii for our Honeymoon, so we will see. He said my mom and dad can come along too if they pay their own way, he is such a sweet guy. I am so glad he realizes how important my family is to me.

Stephanie - I never knew you lived here in CO...small world!!! Chris told me that we could get married on the Disney ship if I wanted too!!! I told him that is way too much money!!!

OMG, I couldn't even imagine having 3 large dogs over at our place. That would be insane, but on the other hand we would have to bring groceries and comfort stuff over there......I hope the snow goes away and turns out to be only a few flurries!!!

I was thinking the exact same thing. Ok so figure it out , 3 large dogs at your place OR 3 large dogs at Uncle Larry's house which would need to be shoveled. Hmmmmmm. Keep in mind though, they do have a snow blower. And hopefully, a working shovel.

I forgot to add to the CO people and one's with Macy's: they are having a great clearance sale. Some things are 25% off the reduced prices and others are 40% off the reduced prices. Then the newspaper has a coupon in it for another 15% off. I got 3 new 40.00 sweaters for 10.00 and 11.00. Now those are good prices for Macy's!

I took the kids to have their picture made. Ya know have one before braces go on their teeth on Tuesday. We then went to the movies. We went to the $2 Movies. We saw Open Season. It was slow but cute. Then we hit the mall. I think we did well. Mac got jeans, a hoodie sweatshirt, 6 pairs of shoes and I got 2 pairs of shoes for $100!!

The kids gert their haircut tomorrow and after that I might take Mac to see Holiday. I have not made up my mind yet to do this though.

Selena, looks like you did pretty good shopping. Not bad for all that! I remember when the girls got their braces OFF, they were given a gift certificate from the orthodontist for pictures from Glamor Shots. That was fun!!
