Cristi, the ONLY reason we were able to get out was because of our big truck. It is a 350 duely(spelling). So it sits high. It was rough going on the side streets for it, too.

Better run. Heidi is headed over here to go shopping.

My SIL just called from the road and asked which exit to get off of and said that they had been driving since 3am. I panicked and said"You are almost here?!!" Actually, they are in Trinidad. Now, I do have time to shower and finish cleaning the house.

Erik is getting his teeth pulled today and he is very sick with a cold. Poor kid. I feel for him. I think I will go spray him down with lysol. lol

What a disaster Denver is!! Heidi and I were going to run to Walmart Supercenter but the traffic lights are messed up around me so we headed to Super Target where the parking lot is a total mess and wasn't plowed until now. It adjoins a mall parking lot so we parked there and walked across. Easy! After about an hour of shopping we walked back to her Pathfinder and all the mall exits were backed up forever. Heidi made some perfect turns and we were able to avoid the long lines. Got out onto the street to find that my traffic light was backed up. We had to pray that two lanes would allow us to turn. We were soooooo fortunate that two drivers did it right away for us. I am now home and Heidi soon will be. NO MORE SHOPPING FOR ME!!!! The roads are rutty, snowpacked and traffic packed. Hate to be the person that still needs to Christmas shop that is for sure!

Cristi, with the traffic lights the way they are around here, you can have a long shower while waiting for your company! Actually, south of Bowles it is ok. It is just north and west on Bowles.

I will have to go back and see more of Jrsy's pics.

Selena - I am watching a show on the freedom of the seas on the travel channel right now, it sounds like the itinerary that you went on, does it only go through one itinerary? I hope E is feeling better.

Right now it is snowing again, I guess we will have a white Christmas for sure now!!!

Sandy, did I ever tell you and Heidi that I used to live in Wheatridge? On Pierce between Colfax & 38th. DH's store was on Wadsworth.

Two of our favorite places to eat are near there -- The Dairy (?) and Dino's (on Colfax) We go to Dino's & Winecoup every time we're in Denver -- every other year or so.

Good Christmas Evening everyone. We have had a wonderful Christmas here in NC. Santa was awesome to us as always.

Both children got electric guitars. Mac is upstairs practicing and E is getting ready to go to his room with his. Mac's is a older one. It was Jeff's dads guitar. He said he got it in the 60's. It is older then we are. lol She told me today it is the best present she has ever gotten.

I will post pictures later. Jeff is working on a video now. I will try to post that when he is done.

I swear by Ziacam swabs. Those are the best things. Erik started getting his cold lat Wednesday night and he swears he is better now. Hardly stopped up at all. I had the same cold and I was sick for 11 days. Mac just started getting her cold last night. She is on the Ziacam and the cold meds too.

Those pictures are amazing Jrsy. I let the kids see them. Erik said I wish we had snow. I just kept on saying look at those mountains!! lol I know you guys are use to them but I am not!! I want to come and visit now!!

Heidi are you guys going to Vegas again in the summer? If you do it would be cool if you girls were there when we are.

Merry Christmas again to each of you. Thanks so much for your friendships and love. I count my blessings to have come upon this thread and to have gotten to know all of you.

Selena, sounds like you had a very happy Christmas. The guitars were an awesome gift for the kids. I have heard that the Ziacam swabs are great. Guess I will try them next time. Your last paragraph was worded so perfect. I am thankful as well for the freindship and love that we all have here.

The roads here are ridiculous. It is so hard driving around. We have huge ice mounds hidden everywhere. So big at times that you can lose your car in them. I think everyone will need an alignment before it is all melted away.

We had a very nice Christmas and Santa was good to me. Spent today with Heidi and Chris. We went to a movie and ended up eating dinner out.

I am ENGAGED. Chris proposed to me yesterday morning when we were opening each other's gifts. He did a great job on choosing out the perfect ring. So I had an awesome Christmas!!!

I hope Dino's is still there! I think it has been close to 2 yrs since we've been to Denver and I know that our 8ds wants to go back SOON -- he loves the aquarium there! LOL!
Dino's is one of the few places that you could still get homemade pasta! yummy!

DH & I (and our 26ds) 24yrs ago! LOL! We only lived there a year -- dh was an assistant manager and he was waiting for the Ft Worth store to open.

Heidi -- Congratulations!!!! When's the wedding?
23dd and I are going through all of this this year.... her wedding is in Oct 2007..... Our 15dd and i want her to have a Disney wedding. We would prefer to have it on Castaway Cay!
When we suggested a Disney wedding in front of her future MIL I thought the woman was going to have a stroke! LOL!
