Our office Christmas party is at my bosses house this year. He has a very fancy house. I'm sure we will have fun, eating, drinking, playing pool. I hear it's on a day I am off on vacation so I'm going to get a facial and my hair fixed before the party. I have not drank anything since my pancreas flared-up (at least 3 months) so hopefully, I'll be good to go.

Dane told me this morning I don't have anything on my Christmas list that has the WOW factor. So, I said, if that's what he wants then buy me a trip, a cruise, disneyworld, or vegas...He said vegas sounds fun. Too bad our Christmas limit for each other is $300. I doubt he can find a trip for that price.

Don't be so sure....when my best friend and I went, we paid $220/pp for 3 nights at the Aladdin. That included airfare and a $50 credit to use at the restaurants. Another time I went there my friend and I paid $180/pp for 2 nights at the Riviera and airfare. Of course both time were their off times so it was cheaper.

Wow interesting ride to work. Did the mom do anything to quiet down the kid? I wish we could have nice Christmas parties like the one you had, but I guess that is one of the down sides to working for the government. We get to go to Simms Landing for lunch and pay $20....their gift to us is free 30 minutes time off to use at lunch!!!

We have something that looks like a tube sock full of rice. You put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes and it works great.

We did that last year and were given the impression that he wanted to do it again this year. We were quite surprised to find out either he didn't want to or he had changed his mind and we had about a month to find a place and plan the party. The Oxford Hotel was the first place we found with a Saturday night available. Given all that, we were very pleased with how it all turned out.

Hi everyone.

I am having problems with my ex friend again. She has started a thread on another board about online harrassement. She seems to be implying I am doing this to her. I could be wrong but it would make sense. If I am correct she is harrassing me not the other way around. Her and her buddy actually attacked me on another thread on yet another board. I never posted back because I know how to handle myself but Jeff did post. He was never rude but he did call her on her lies. A mod removed the entire thread. I asked her to remove it because I was afraid Jeff would get too upset. I did not want him to be banned for taking up for me. It is amazing how people lie and others believe them.

I can not believe that they are getting away with this type of harrassement of me. But I do believe this is God's way of dealing with them. I am sure it will eventually blow up in their faces. What comes around goes around.

OK I just had to vent a little. If they are reading this thread I am sure they will run back to the mod and have the mod come here and read my post. If that is so they will try to use this to ban me on that board.

Do you guys think I have been wrong in my posts on here to you? I mean I did it as a review to you guys. I even asked to make sure no one was upset with my review. Since we started this thread we have reviewed our cruises.

Selena, you are not wrong to have posted your review. It happened. It was a MAJOR part of your cruise. NOT to have talked about it would have implied that it didn't happen. IT DID! You did not mention names. You were very civil with the things you said. The whole ordeal needs to end. She didn't need to START a thread. Enough is enough. She needs to drop it and let life go on and let it DIE!!! My heart goes out to YOU!!!!!!!!

I make those bags out of fleece and field corn. I tried the rice and didn't like it as well. I had a couple of requests to make some with rice but decided not to make anymore.

Got the windows in. They are wonderful. Now we have to put the house back together. Drapes hung, furniture back in place and even paint the office.

Marcie, I love your idea of a gift......cruise, WDW or Vegas. Next time Ted asks for some ideas for me I will have to tell him those kind of gifts!

Selena - you asked us and we all agreed that it was a part of your trip and we wanted to hear about your entire trip, you were not wrong in posting anything. No names were evered mentioned in your trip report, you haven't even said what other boards you go to so no one would even have a clue who this person is. We don't know this persons log on name, real name or other. This person needs to get a grip on life. It would be ridiculous for a mod from another board come over here to our thread just to ban you. That would be completely childish....someone needs a little maturing.

Sandy, I still don't think he's actually going to go through with getting me a trip but who knows. I would definitely be surprised.

I do not know if they are reading here or not but I do know I did get a pm from the mod implying that with my pms to another mod there it would be taken as a form of harrassement to these two people. I sent a pm back asking if he was joking. Now to be honest I was very detailed but I was asked in the past to please give details. So I did this in my email. I did go so far as to apologize for one comment but the comment was not a lie and it was the type of things that mod has asked for in the past. My pm to that mod was only after my friend on this board told me about a thread my ex friend had started. I had stopped going to that board after she stopped being my friend but then another friend asked me to come and chat with her there. I did and then I was told my ex friend had posted a thread on harrassement and was threatening to go to the police. Well I pmed the mod then and only then to let her know of the problems. I felt harrassed and dang now they tell me due to my pm I was harrassing these two people. What a joke. I am handled this entire situation in a nice way. I have many people who would be glad to tell anyone what they witness on this cruise. It would only make my ex friend look bad.

My shoulder is doing a lot better. It still hurts a little, but nothing like Sunday. Yesterday at work one of my co-workers has this contraption to help with the pain. She attached these electrodes to the painful area and then I had this little box that I turned on that sent electrical impulses through the muscle. It was wonderful!!! I think that helped it quite a bit.

Our office Christmas party is this Friday night. It is out in Aurora at the Copper club. We will have dinner (I think buffet, but can't remember for sure), drinks and dancing. It should be an okay time. I like visiting with everyone (remember, Sandy and Heidi, I like to talk a lot).

At Cristi's party my sister asked for everyone to share what their favorite pampered chef item was and to say one nice thing about Cristi. It seems like everyone mentioned how friendly she is and they like to talk to her. We all discovered that we think Cristi talks alot.

That sounds like TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation). I had a stress fracture in HS and that was part of my physical therapy.

Aerial had a crick in her neck over the weekend. I gave her doses of 3 motrin and a heating pad. That heating thing sounds good.

This week is going way too slow. Especially with Dane working out of town, but hey I got to finish his shopping, and he will be home tomorrow.

Marcie, Heidi is right. I am exactly like you at a party. If I could just blend in with the wall I would be happy! I think I am doing good at the Pampered Chef parties because my DD is the one selling the products.

Heidi, I still need to buy for dad as well. This is what I think I will do.....Lonestar, spa, and movie gift certificates. He just keeps telling me that he doesn't need anything. I forgot that today is your Friday.
