OH MY GOSH!!!! You guys will never guess this in a million years. We haven't heard from Best Buy in two days so we stopped by the store tonight. Low and behold the computer was delivered to the store late last night. And guess what????? It was DAMAGED AGAIN. We spoke with another type of manager and he did get to see the damage this time. As he was talking to us the drive door kept falling off unto the counter. He then told us he was going to talk with a geek and another manager on duty as to what to do next. He fouond out that they already knew that it was damaged and sent a damage report fax to the insurance company. They have to follow all protocol so we sit and wait to hear what the insurance company will now do for us. Quite honestly this is getting to be quite hilarious. Stay tuned.......

My goodness, everyone must be busy with their families. I just got on the computer to check on a friend. The minister that has been in the news was hers and she is taking it pretty hard.

Bayard, NE. Last year, I think the population was about 1350; we'll see if it is down even more this year.

Population was listed as 1,196 this year but the big news is that an ethanol plant is going to be built just south of downtown, which should have a major impact on the town.

I just wanted to say bye for now. I am totally pumped regardless of the issues of this cruise. I am ready to go and have a nice vacation. I heard Sushi calling my name.

Barb is coming in early tomorrow morning. We are having Mimosa's at 9. lol Anyone want to do a virtual drink fix one EST 9 and have one with me.

I can hardly wait to see all my friends. We are partying at the Hard Rock tomorrow evening with the whole gang.

I leave tomorrow for WDW. I am so excited. I have tons of work to do - I'm hoping to grade 40 essays and read the Lord of the Flies on the plane. Grades for 1st Marking Period are due two days after I get back.

It's a short trip but it should be fun.

I heard from Heidi today. This trip is MUCH better than the last one. Last night they went to Hooters for dinner and then did a little gambling. They get off around 4 today so I bet they will find something to do tonight!

I'm here, just havent been feeling the best and busy at work. I found out in my blood work that it IS a pancreatitis flareup. I am trying to eat as low fat as possible to heal it up. Why is it when you HAVE to diet that you want everything to eat.

I am off Friday for veteran's day and I have a facial scheduled in the morning. THen we are off to Dallas for the weekend. Dane is racing on Saturday. Hopefully it will be a nice little getaway.

Hi all! I am here too, it has just been really busy around here. I had to work all weekend and now I finally have a day off. I have been popping the vit c because my throat has been a little scratchy the last couple of days. DD's b'day is this weekend so I need to go get things for her party today or tomorrow. Friday is her b'day and grandparent's and her aunt and uncle are coming over and then on Saturday night she is having a slumber party.

Marcie, hang in there and hopefully you will heal up soon.

I hope all of our travelers are having great trips!

Guess what. Now I am having computer problems. It has been acting up so last night I defragged it well this morning it was frozen so I restarted it then all my icons were showing weird and next thing i know i have a checkerboard on my screen. Then it went black, but was still on. So, I turned it off and am praying that it will be happier this evening. I do have a laptop so I can still use one, but I like my pc better. I might end up getting a new one.

Yes, I can see the 3 stooges working on Sandy's computer.

Oh oh Marcie. I don't like the sound of your computer. When things started happening here it would work for awhile and then freeze up, then work, then freeze. I sure hope you are ok. Word for the wise.....don't take it to Best Buy Geek Squad! Sorry to hear about your flare up. Follow your diet to the T and sooner rather than later you can have all those goodies that you are longing for.

Jrsy and Cristi, can you believe the weather today????? I left the house around 10 today and before I left I opened the windows. When I got back around 2 the house was already up to 73. It is soooo beautiful.

Cristi, sorry to hear about your scratchy throat. Hope it doesn't turn into what is going around. That stuff doesn't go away for a long time!!

Ted is off for Veterans Day as well so we scheduled massages for that day. Can't wait!

And..... WELCOME HOME HEIDI. Can you believe that on Friday at 6 in the morning they leave for Disneyland. Must be rough.

I heard from Karen. She has been sick. Then on top of it, they bought a house and are in the middle of moving. She HOPES to have her computer up and running soon. She said she misses all of us.

Better run. This old grandma has to babysit the grandkids tonight. Man, that sounds like I am an old lady. Really I'm not, really!

Well, I spent the evening backing up all my pictures and music and then I transferred my hard drive to another hard drive. I did a sytem check and it said my hard drive was about to die. So good thing I had a second hard drive in my computer. Hopefully all will be well by tonight.

I am so happy for Heidi going to Disneyland! Have a blast.

Don't you just love those beautiful days after being cold.

We transferred our things to another drive as well. We are thankful for that. At least we know we haven't lost anything. Good going Marcie!!

It was 82 yesterday and today we are suppose to get to 62. I don't believe it. It is really cold and no sun.

Oh and one more thing. I have very curly hair and I was watching Rachael Ray one day talking about curly hair. The lady said to use a micro fiber towel. Anyone know where I can find one? I have been to Dillards, Target and Hancock Fabrics. It needs to be a decent size.

I just got a phone message from Best Buy. They said that we can get a new computer!!! In a way I was hoping for a check but at least we get a NEW computer. They said to hurry in. I am so excited. That still doesn't restore my faith in them. It took a second drop to get this final decision.
