Heidi just got some bad news. She won't be able to access the boards at work. Now she will have to wait until she gets home. BIG adjustment for her that is for sure.

Heidi :grouphug: That will definitely be hard. Hang in there, good news is you got your new computer now!

Keep trying, Marcie, it has taken some other people a few tries to get it to work. I went ahead and put the bouncing mickey in my photobucket album and re-linked to that if you want to try using my link instead of the one I sent you. Or copy the image to your own photobucket album and try linking from there.

Thank you for the tip! I put it in my photobucket. :goodvibes

I can no longer receive personal email at work. I am sorry guys. If you have sent me an email recently I probably did not receive it. Pm me and I will give you my new email address that Jeff set up for me.

Jrsy I can not see anything but a red X

Hi guys, as my mom informed you I can no longer access the disboards at work. At least I have my new computer and get on at home!!! I knew it was coming because my work has to go to court over Indian Trust issues on the internet and they warned us that they would be cracking down. I will still try and post everyday at night when I get home.

Well good news about my pictures and Walgreens. A store manager contacted me and said that she would print all the pictures I have remaining. That saves me over $100.

Looks like Selena and I are both having internet crack downs at work!!! I will pm all of you my work email address and you can always contact me that way.

Tomorrow night when I have more time I am going to figure out this computer and post the pictures I have of Cosmo, and I will get my mom's CD back from Walgreens and post her pictures too!!!!

I will miss you all during the day, but will catch up with all of you at night. I will have major Disboard withdrawals for a little bit!!!!

Congrats w. Walgreens!

I think everyone's cracking down. I tried to print a coupon from the Scott tissues website during lunch last week at school and they blocked it, classifying it as pornography!

I am busy with work but I had a nice weekend - dinner at SIL's and lots of fun w nephew and niece. Also we visited Rob's best friend, his gf and their daughter (Rob's goddaughter) in SoHo and went to World of Disney in NYC.

Selena and Marcie - lots of pixie dust sent your way. Sometimes those closest to us hurt us the most but I'm proud of both of you for being so strong and doing what is best for you and your children.

I just gave my mom 80 dollars worth of Halloween candy bc the school just said we can;t give any out to the kids. No more candy, cookies, soda or junk in school in NJ!

Anyway, I will talk to you all soon. :sunny:

I can see the link...tissues, hand lotion, etc. Shame on you, Lulu! They knew what you were going to use them for.

Are you still having this problem? It seems like it didn't work for a lot of people yesterday and I don't know if that problem is still going on. Let me know and I will respond to your PM with step-by-step instructions if you need them.

I am having arthroscopic surgery tomorrow on my knee to repair a torn meniscus, so I'll be out of work for two days.

I picked up my pictures from Walgreens that they printed for free and we picked up a total of 5 boxes...Chris and I were so embarrassed but it was hilarious!!! I haven't gone through them yet but I will tonight and tomorrow night. All the duplicates will go to my mom. Let's see there was a box full of my digital pictures from my camera of WDW and DCL, there was a box full of my niece and nephew, a box full of Chris's girls playing soccer, basketball, swimming, and last year's pumpkin festival, and 2 boxes from my mom's digital camera!!!!

Seeing the pictures definitely made my day. I was having a bad day and to top it off I dropped a vegetable tray down my stairs that I had just bought from the grocery store to bring to our birthday party celebration tomorrow at work. At work today an applicant was argueing with me because I said he was ineligible and 2 other people thought the same thing. The last thing he said to me was, "that is the problem with women doing men's qualifications...they are discriminating against men....and then he threatened, don't make me take this to the EEOC." Okay I am sure the EEOC would love your discriminatory comment about women. He told me to forward the email to my boss which I gladly did!!!! She was one that reviewed his application as well and said he didn't qualify!!!!!

LuLu - thanks again for finding the info out for me about how to contact Walgreens.

Cristi - I am throwing a pampered chef party on October 21st @ 1:00 and you are invited if you would like to go. You can bring friends and get a gift!!!!

If anyone wants to order anything from pampered chef, I can do that too.

Jrsy - you are welcome too, but I am sure not too many guys will show up...maybe your wife wants to come???? :)

It was tough making it an entire day at work without DISing, but I made it!!! One step at a time!!! ;)

Here are some pictures of Cosmo to hold you over until we get high speed internet when I can get it done quicker:

I also put these on his photobucket page!!!

Yay, :cool1: Heidi is beginning to share the pictures of Cosmo. Can't wait for you guys to see his new outfit. By the way, the shirt he is wearing matches the four of our shirts.

Wow, it sounds like everyone will be posting from home and I bet Jrsy will be next.

Speaking of Jrsy. :wizard: Pixie dust your way for a fast recovery! We will be thinking of you.

Lulu, that is sad for the kids that you can't "treat" them. This sugar and fat thing is going too far. We all survived eating that kind of stuff!! BTW, I have friends in Sicklerville and two other surrounding towns. Are you close? Shoot, I can't remember the other towns. Oh and I need your grammer knowledge. If someone asks how you are is it good or well? :confused3 I always get confused!!

I hope I get a new computer soon. Or at least the old one back. I think if they say the old one that we will fight them. This is ridiculous. Someone told me that you either love Sony or you hate them. You either have tons of problems or none. If we get a new one we don't have to choose Sony. So now I am wondering what would be better. I hear HP and Compaq are having trouble within the companies and I don't think Best Buy sells anything else. Sheez.

I just saw something and thought of Cristi immediately.

Cristi, if I had your phone number I would have called you. I was driving south on Pierce and at the NW corner of Pierce and Portland it looked like a little boy was "run" over by a car. He was being cradled by a man. I saw the boys face, it was bright red and he had been crying. I don't think that he was injured bad but it was still awful to see. I bet I was only seconds away from witnessing it. The boy looked to be about 8ish and had been on a yellow bike. The bike didn't look bad. I drove a couple of more blocks to the dentist and parked and got out of the car and by then the sirens hit. Is your son and his friends ok? I just feel icky. ICKY!! I was only at the dentist probably 3 minutes and by the time I drove back, the boy was already inside an ambulance and the bike was leaning against the street light. I hate this feeling!

Wow, that is pretty scary Sandy. My son is fine and so are his friends as far as I know. And that is really close to home. Which dentist do you go to? I wonder if it is the same one we use.

Brad got hit by a car on his bike when he was a kid(his big orange flag sticking up on his bike probably saved him) and he also ran into a parked truck once when he was little too.

Jrsy how is your knee doing? Don't do too much too soon on it.

Heidi, Pampered Chef party sounds fun. Let me get back to you. It seems like there is something else going on that day, but I can't think of what. Maybe it is just kids stuff. I know Rachel has a Halloween party that night and I am pretty sure Jacob has something for cub scouts. :confused3

How is everyone adjusting to no posting at work? I don't ever post at work. They don't have the site blocked, but it is against the rules and we don't all have a computer we are sitting at anyway. I am pretty much up and moving all day. I think I did post once on a weekend when I was working while I was waiting for one test to finish running. I do most of my posting on my days off after I drop the kids off a school while I am having my coffee. :surfweb:

No posting at work sucks for me!!! But thankfully today is my day off so I am going to get caught up!!!!

Cristi - let me know if you want to go, so far not many people have RSVP so it may be a small bunch. It is at my sister's house.

Just to let you all know that I posted all of Cosmo's pictures from his trip with us on his photobucket account: http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g253/Cosmo-Monkey/

Now I will post some more of his pictures:

Sunday: September 3, 2006: Magic Kingdom

Woke up early to have breakfast at Crystal Palace before MK was open; it was a lot of fun to see main street almost completely empty. The breakfast was awesome and a lot of good character interactions. It was great to finally meet Jerry.

245646165_1000_0105.jpg

When we were done eating, the park opened so we ran to ride Pirates of the Caribbean. That is my favorite ride and I was so excited to ride it to see what changes they had made to the ride, the additions were awesome and it was so cool to Captain Jack Sparrow throughout the ride. We watched a performance of Captain Jack and he was really good. The girls didn’t enjoy their first ride on Pirates because they are afraid of the dark and they were afraid that something would jump out at them. Throughout the day they asked to go on it again and they loved it.
245644241_1000_0151.jpg

We went on Splash Mountain next and the girls both LOVED that ride. They wanted to ride it over and over again, same with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
245668099_1000_0278.jpg

(that is me in the pink shirt and the girls are in front of me and beside me and Jerry is behind me)
We thunder mountain at least 3 times in a row. One time we were luck enough to skip the stand by line and go through the fast pass line because we had such a huge group. We had a trail of 13 people following one after the other, ride after ride. It was great, but sometimes a little stressful to keep everyone together and happy. While we were waiting to get on the next train we saw my mom and dad were on the train before us (this was the first time we had run into them since we have been there.) We waved, screamed and took pictures.

245650558_1000_0031.jpg

Next ride we attempted was Haunted Mansion, definitely didn’t take the girls on that one again. I had Emily in my lap in the doom buggy with her head buried in my chest and her begging to leave. Chris had the same thing with Amanda. Their favorite part was when they uncovered their eyes and saw a ghost riding with us. Their 2 younger cousins were scared also.

We took a lunch break and ate at Cosmic Rays. I was still stuffed from breakfast, but the girls wanted Chicken and Ribs so we all shared that and a hamburger. The Chicken and Ribs platter is huge and could easily feed 2 people, the meal was good. After lunch we went for Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain. At Space Mountain is when we discovered that one of Chris’s daughters (Amanda) is a thrill/coaster junkie!!!! She loved it and Emily hated it.
245650603_1000_0068.jpg

(You can see Emily getting off about ready to say she is never riding that ride again!!)

Chris, the girls, and I left MK to go eat at Whispering Canyon. It poured down rain while we were waiting for the boat (no bus service between Wilderness Lodge and MK) and we met up with my parents for dinner. We had heard such great things about this place and asked for a server that gets into the atmosphere, but we didn’t get a fun server, we were just observers. I was disappointed but may have been okay since the girls were exhausted. After dinner we went back to the hotel to relax and take a nap because we were planning on going back to MK for the extra magic hours and to watch Wishes. I was so excited to watch Wishes because I heard how great it was but have never seen it before. I loved it. We stood on the street between Tomorrowland and the partners statue, it was a very special moment. I was looking forward to spending the night with just my parents, Chris, the girls and I, since I haven’t been able to do so far. Well the girls were overly tired and Chris ended up taking them back to the hotel while I met up with my parents. Left MK around midnight and went straight to bed.

Jrsy how is your knee doing? Don't do too much too soon on it.
Well, I was able to walk over to the computer, at least. Haven't needed crutches, but the painkillers are helpful. I'll be heading back to the couch pretty soon. Have a great weekend, all!

Jrsy, the only reason I said anything was because someone I work with just had knee surgery the end of August. She had it done on Wed before Labor Day weekend and was off until the Tues after Labor Day. She got the bright idea to clean her garage and paint her bathroom that weekend (she said nothing was hurting because of the painkillers). Her recovery time was longer than anticipated..... imagine that......

I don't think dis'ing should cause you problems...... ;)

Hey, who wants to see pictures of our new tile? Tough you get to see them anyway. ;) We still need to replace the baseboards, but that will probably be after Brad gets done with the current class he is taking. We are also talking about replacing some of the doors in the house too, but that might take a little bit too.
Here is the entryway before:

Here is after:

Oh wow, Cristi. Big difference! Love it. Our dentist is Dr. Scott Johnson. I babysit for his dental hygentist twice a week.

Heidi, I am enjoying your pictures and trip report.

Jrsy, hope you aren't in too much pain. My brother has been through so many surgeries on his knees. They used to cut him and now they do it your way. It is much easier these days. My other dd had it done a couple of years ago.

Had a good day today. Managed to spend lots of Heidi's money. Still no word from Best Buy yet.

Cristi - I LOVE the new tile...definitely made a huge difference I am sure. Good pick of tile.

Jrsy - I hope your knee gets better soon...want to race throught the corn maze? ;)
