I can't believe it rained by you guys, too. Did it rain everywhere?

Only in Jersey are fireworks illegal, yet you can see and hear them for hours. It's so funny.

Actually, I was wearing my "teardrop pattern" bandana! This was an older guy, though, not some young punk. Think "grumpy old man." That's how they caught him, Heidi, he didn't walk that fast. One cop came to our house and three or four were out looking for him. Don't forget, the incident last week at K-Mart was in Englewood, too, so they are a bit jumpy now.

And, Lulu, I lived in NJ for 27 years and in NYC when I was in college and never had a weapon pulled on me or even in front of me! And this is the suburbs, not like the middle of the city! I think an old-timer probably thinks he can get away with stuff like that because he's been around forever.

I heard it also rained a lot in Wisconsin, where a coworker just returned from, and in Maryland & DC.

Lulu, like Heidi said, it is illegal to buy & set off fireworks here, but the first thing you see when you cross the border to Wyoming on I-25 is two gigantic fireworks "outlets."

Oh yes, drive a little over an hour to stock up on illegal fireworks for the 4th and New Year's Eve!!! I am to afraid of getting caught to even light them!!! I can't believe it was an old guy that almost assaulted your dog, grumpy old fart.

I am so excited for my Vegas trip, it is going to be hot hot hot!!! Oh well I am getting in swimsuit condition so I will be wearing my bikini all the time!!!

I have a question. Has anyone bought the bottled water on the ship and then taken it off the ship on excursions? I know people bring sandwiches off the ship, so I assume I could take water off?

Oh so close, but no unfortunately (for you and all the web cam viwers) we are staying at the Aladdin!!!! But hmmm, cameras...we may have to go check that out and do something fun for the cameras!!! (now listen for my mom to pass out!!!) You all know the saying, whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

I am soooo excited. Heidi and I just ordered a bunch of "blinking" light up fun things for the cruise. We bought the hair braids, leis, suckers, flower barrettes and magnetic palm tree body lights. I found this co. on google. I waited too long for Selena's company and they ran out of hair braids. I am psyched. I hope it works out ok. The last company I ordered the flashing mouth piece took my money and never sent anything. At least the credit card company refunded it to me. This one seems to be legit.

Marcie, the ship sells water as you leave the ship so I am SURE you can go off the ship with your water. By the way, we are one of them that calls room service for sandwiches. BUT, they don't have PB&J listed anymore. Would you do me a HUGE favor and ask room service if they still have them?

There is also a big outlet somewhere on Federal too. Brad went there on Monday. He wasn't able to get anything really big though since he doesn't have an out of state DL. He did get us some fountains though. We were able to set them off on Wed evening. Heidi, you should come to our block party next year and see some. There are some people down the street that usually get really big things. Spend $100's on them.

We are leaving for vacation tomorrow. Flying in to Nashville spending the weekend there for a family reunion, driving to Kentucky to see my other grandmother and then driving down to Alabama to stay with my best friend and go to our 20th reunion. Yikes! Did I really say 20th! I am really looking forward to the trip! I haven't seen my best friend in about 3 years now. It gets tough with the kids trying to do the trip back and forth (she has 3 kids ranging from 2-6).

The light-up suckers are so cool, I thought the girls would really enjoy them at WDW and of course I will have fun with them too!!!

Ok, now I remember why I do not stay out late when I have to go to work the next day. I was out last night until 12:30 and I am beat!!! My friend's boss was throwing a party thats kind of like Party Lite and Pampered Chef. Of course she provided the drinks (frozen strawberry daquiri's) and then we went to our favorite bar since it was right down the street.

Bath and Body Works opens at the mall here today, finally since the hurricane!!! We finally got the date for Dillards too, they are opening October 27th. Wow, over a year to open. Hope we don't get any hurricanes this year.

THe last time I used soap from the grocery store when I was out of my Bath & Body works I hated the way it felt on my skin. I went out that day and got some shower gel.
