Actually, I was wearing my "teardrop pattern" bandana! This was an older guy, though, not some young punk. Think "grumpy old man." That's how they caught him, Heidi, he didn't walk that fast. One cop came to our house and three or four were out looking for him. Don't forget, the incident last week at K-Mart was in Englewood, too, so they are a bit jumpy now.LuluLovesDisney said:Jrsy, you weren't wearing paisley were you?![]()
I can't believe that story about your dog- I bet you thought you left that kind of stuff behind in Jersey.![]()
I can't believe it rained by you guys, too. Did it rain everywhere?
Only in Jersey are fireworks illegal, yet you can see and hear them for hours. It's so funny.
And, Lulu, I lived in NJ for 27 years and in NYC when I was in college and never had a weapon pulled on me or even in front of me! And this is the suburbs, not like the middle of the city! I think an old-timer probably thinks he can get away with stuff like that because he's been around forever.
I heard it also rained a lot in Wisconsin, where a coworker just returned from, and in Maryland & DC.
Lulu, like Heidi said, it is illegal to buy & set off fireworks here, but the first thing you see when you cross the border to Wyoming on I-25 is two gigantic fireworks "outlets."
