I want to see Lakehouse and Click, but probably won't see it until it comes out to rent. It seems like we go to a movie once a year and we wasted it on The Omen a few weeks ago. We may see Click and Cars though because Chris really wants to see those and we can take his girls to Cars!!!!

Selena - I loved those cosmetic bags, how cute. Too bad I already have one or else I would have bid on that!!!

Hi, guys!

Thank you so much for the awesome birthday wishes! It was a busy day, but nice. Graduation was very *wet* (rainy outside, hot and sweaty inside) but that's ok. I got some cute thank yous from my students which was really nice. I start my summer job tomorrow and I am *really* nervous! Ahh. It's a lot more work than I previously thought. It will be nice to work 8-12 only, but there is a lot to remember about what you can and can't do. I want to do everything right, you know?

Oh- and guess what- my SIL is 50 % effaced and should have her baby soon! I was hoping my niece would be born on my birthday but it's looking like the 27th, I guess.

"X rated fusion liqueur" French premium vodka flavored with Provencal blood orange, mango and passion fruit. I had it with some diet sprite and it was great. I wonder what else it would go with. I tried it straight, but it's a little too strong for me!

Okay, am I a really bad mommy? I sort of lied to my kids today. I initially was supposed to work M, T and Wed this week. Well I ended up working last weekend so I didn't want to work Th, F, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues and Wed. (call me crazy, but that seemed like too many days in a row). I took today off, but I still took the kids to daycamp. I just needed some quiet time. I also didn't want to listen to the, "but I don't wanna go if you are off" so I got up and put my scrubs on and took them to daycamp. That in itself was strange because DH usually takes them so DD was on to me right away. I told her that it was really slow at work today (not a lie; it is very slow there today) and that I didn't have to be there at 7am( also not a lie since I didn't have to be there at all )

Oh and for Big Brother, I would like to see Chicken George. I loved him the first time. I hate that they are bringing back all the "bleepers". Half the show was all beeped out with most of them because of swearing. That always drives me NUTS!

Cristi I feel for you. Your kids sound like my kids. They just do not get it that you need time without them around. My two think if I am off and they are in school I should get them out early. I still make them take their normal ride home too. LOL I do not think I have ever gone as far as you did. I do not remember ever lying about it because my are at the age that I have to teach them lying is wrong and if I do it they will.

it is raining here and has been all day. i was going to take the kids to the pool all week but today is out now. now i have to get myself wanting to do some more house work. I really need to take down my liights in the bathroom and the ones on the ceiling fan and wash them. we really dusted and vaccum real well in there a little while ago. so if i do that my room and my bathroom is done!! well i do have to repaint a spot or two in the bathroom due to peeling and marks on the walls. I just I can make myself do more work. not sure though....

Nah Cristi, you aren't a bad mom. You recoginized that you needed time alone and went for it. If you didn't you might have taken it out on the kids.

Selena, thank you thank you thank you for the package. You got me in the mood to cruise. I'm going to use the palm tree pen at work. I love the stickers too. I will begin reading that book soon.

My co-worker just came back today. She went on a cruise out of Galveston to Jamaica, Cozumel & Grand Cayman. She said she didn't like Cozumel but liked the others. She brought us back a whole variety pack of rum cakes. I've tried the original and the key lime. They were yummy.

Cozumel is ok. I think you need to go to the beach or something. We are doing a private beach party there in which I look forward too. I think that will be tons of fun.

Oh we made a rum cake last night. I have the recipe if anyone wants it. I will either post it here or email it to you. It is good but warning do not eat it let it sit for at least 8 hours. That sucker is strong!

Heidi we got alot of rain from the hurricane a few weeks back and thenin the last 24 hours we have gotten an addition 7 inches. We are almost water logged now. Our mountains have been flooding.
