Thursday DH and DS head off to Cub scout camp. They leave around noon and then won't be back until Saturday evening. I am off so DD and I will be doing "girl stuff". She has a gift card for Build a Bear so we will probably do that and then go to Claires and get her ears pierced. At some point we will do Sweet Tomatoes for lunch and IHOP for breakfast. She also mentioned a movie and maybe swimming. Boy, I am glad I am off today, she is going to keep me busy all weekend. ;)

Help! I found flashing leis at our party stores. Both stores sold out of them. Anyone know of a good company to order from? Oriental Trading Co is sold out. Some I am finding through google has to have HUGE orders. I only want 7 but would settle for 12. Anyone have a reputable company?

Forgot to add that I found flashing palm tree magnets for like clothes etc. They are sooooo cute but you have to buy 25 at .99 each. I am still thinking about those.

Yes Selena, I want to see that recipe too.

Cristi, that sounds like a fun time with your DD.

Sandy, I don't know of any place but that sounds fun. I have to get my door magnets and a color ink cartridge soon. I can't believe how close it's getting.

Marcie, magnets and a color ink cartridge. Hmmm, sounds like you have some work to do. We still have to do the same thing. We are thinking about making tshirts. Does any of you have any advice?

Don't take any wooden nickels.
Don't eat yellow snow.
If she asks whether she looks fat, run away as quickly as possible.
Do not lean against the doors. (No se apoye contra la puerta)
Don't stick your tongue against a frozen flagpole.
Stop and smell the roses.
Live each day as if it was your last.

Is that enough?

Just coming up for air long enough to say "Hi."
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but I still have to get through the week before I reach it.
Back to the grind...

You forgot: Don't run with scissors and don't play with matches....

I've been thinking about getting a new lime green tank top that is at Academy to wear on the ship for our DIS meet. Hopefully by the time I get back there this weekend it will still be there. We are going to make a whole bunch of mickey head magnets this time because last time we would see our mickey heads on doors down the hall. I am sure kids were taking them. We are going to make 3 with our names on it and the rest to share. I don't know about shirts, I'm not that creative. :confused3

Ok we do all ot this Sandy on our cruises. We do a rhinestone tank top. We order the iron thru ebay and then we buy our own tank top and iron it on. I will ask Janet for all of the websites and send them to you. Or post them on here. OK??? She is watching her nephew I am sure she will let me know something in a few minutes. If not I will post the sites later.

Yummm that sounds very good.

Jeff made it last night. It is good but not nearly as good as my Irish Creme cake recipe. It is to die for!!!

1/4 C Irish Creme
yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 C oil
3 1/2 oz pkg instant vanilla pudding
1/2 C water
1/2 C chopped pecans

mix togerher first 6 ingredients. Chop pecans and put them on the bottom of your greased pan. I use a bunti pan. Pour mixture over and bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. Take cake out and allow to cool for 15 minutes. Release cake onto cake plate.

About 15 minutes before cake is out of the oven make glaze. You want to judge at having the glaze ready when you release the cake.

1 srick butter
1 C sugar
1/4 C water
1/4 C Irish Creme

Melt butter and add sugar and water. Bring to boil and then reduce heat but still keep it at a slow boil for 5 minutes. At four minutes add Irish Creme.

Put holes in the top of the cake and pour the glaze into holes and over cake.

I hope I did not forget something

Thanks Selena. Hey, are you saying that you MAKE a RHINESTONE tank? Heidi, that would be soooo cool. We could do that for a gift.

Jrsy, thanks for the advice but........

That Irish Creme cake sounds soooo good.

I need to check out the new board.

Selena, I went over to the new board. It was funny seeing your name all the way down. You have been a busy lady!!

I'm going to check out the new board when I get off of work. I may have to bake that Irish Creme Cake. The green tank I tried on at Academy has rhinstones. :thumbsup2
