My best friend just called, her soon to be ex-husband's grandma died and begged her to go with him this weekend to Nebraska, she said she would and then he told her he is moving back to FL. I could kill him, what a jerk. I guess instead of going to Kickboxing like I planned, I will be going to Old Chicago for Happy Hour with her. So much for losing 5 more pounds before the cruise!!!!

We got the tattoos on Friday and mine was coming off on the next Thursday. I think Aerial's was gone on Wednesday almost as long as mine. They were between 10 & 15 a piece. They were fun. I really wanted tinkerbell but she wasn't in the airbrush and that lasts the longest.

So your best friends ex asked her to go with him to a funeral and then told her he is moving away??? You are such a good friend Heidi.

I almost forgot. I don't think that Everest is any worse then Space Mountain. It has some in the dark. I was scared to ride it but once I did I would definitely ride it again. I loved that it was so smooth. I hate bumpy rides.

Margaritaville was great for atmosphere. My food was fine, but not outstanding. My brother got the blackened Mahi Mahi though and I took a bite. It was great! My dinner paled in comparison. We loved singing along with the songs though.

I don't know if you would like EE if you are a roller coaster wimp. There is a part in the dark and going backwards. I loved it though!!!!!

Marcie I love any ride. Bump or in the dark. Does Tower of Terror bother you? We were able to talk Mac into riding it once. She refused to get back on it after that!

Pudding Shots

1 small pkg. INSTANT choc. pudding
3/4 C. milk
1/4 C. Vodka
1/2 C. Irish Cream (I'm sure you can sub other things as well)
8 oz. Extra Creamy Cool Whip

Mix pudding and milk for a couple of minutes with an electric mixer, then add alcohol, mix well. Mix in Cool Whip. Pour into serving cups, top with Cool Whip.

No, I don't realize and I am sure she does not realize this could change the divorce proceedings.....how could it change? I am positively sure they will not have relations (you are so DIS friendly), since they haven't since BEFORE they moved to FL (over 2 years). I tried to talk her out of it last night, but she says that it is part of Elijah's family too and that is why she is going. They leave tonight, the funeral is tomorrow and they come back tomorrow night and then go to the Broncos game together on Saturday night. Her ex tried talking her into letting Elijah move to FL with him.....she just laughed and said um.....NO, you are the one moving clear across the country, not me.

That recipe sounds so good. Does the vodka curdle the milk?

That was probably the one ride that Alex was certain that he didn't want to ride. Walking down the street in MGM, however, he suddenly changed his mind. We got FPs, rode it, then used our FPs and rode it again. He loved it! That trip was when we all realized that he loves the thrill rides as much as we do...a happy revelation for all 3 of us! We are all looking forward to riding EE.

Jrsy!!! Hi!!!! Did some fishing here!!!! The two I caught (BTW, I only threw my line in twice!!!! No joke!!!!) they were about 2 ft long!!!!! (OK.... that is exaggerating!!!) Hope you are doing good. I see you are getting ready for your trip soon if I am not getting mixed up.

All is well. I am adjusting to Nebraska very well. I made sure I dropped my negative attitude before I got out of Florida. My kids are SLOWLY adjusting and my 17 yr old daughter, in the nicest way she can as to not get me crying, keeps telling me she is moving back in one year when she is 18. I never thought I would be praying for her to get a boyfriend!!!
All the kids are enrolled in school. Both my babies are in high school this year.... it has been an emotional month for me.
DH had to go back to Fl last week b/c not only did the first deal on the house get THREE extentions and then FALL THROUGH!!!! But, in the meantime, we had two huge branches fall down and one did some roof damage. Along with that, we had minor vandalism done to the house. So, he went back this past week, switched realtors (FINALLY listened to me!!!) and yesterday we got TWO offers on the house!!!! I pray this one goes through before any more damage happens. Having two payments on everything (one here and one there) has been very stressful especially since I have not been working.
GOOD NEWS IS.... I got a job!!! I will be a secretary at the same school my sister works at! It is a high school!! They are still doing my criminal check so I haven't started yet. Hopefully soon. Only get paid once a month though.... that will hurt, and worst....we have been w/o insurance since March. We finally will have it, but there goes what little paycheck I will have. I don't care... I have always wanted to be a secretary and I am so excited!!!!!
Aside from that... all else is well. Valencia (my grandaughter ) starts Kindergarten soon. I will have to miss that day and it will break my heart, but I did get to meet her teacher yesterday. They come to the houses now!!!
I have to go to sign papers for the house. It was great reading all your reports. I hope I can keep in better touch!
Oh... may I leave you with this new drink invention we came up with...
I cannot tell you the name b/c you will all think less of me..... trust me, the drink is great. They are shots...

Ah gee, guys. I just went back and read the trip reports from Marcie and Cristi. Sounds like a good time had by all. Cristi, by the way, your parents look soooooo young. It is a dream of mine to renew my vows. I think it is so cool to do that. I can't imagine getting through it without major blubbering.

Karen!!!!! I am so excited that you posted today. I have been addicted to Big Brother. When I got back from the trip I watched all 3 episodes I missed on CBS.com I still think Will is the master of BB.

Selena, I rode a ride like Tower of Terror at Astroworld years ago. Once was enough. I'm not riding it..

Sandy & Heidi, we sent Cosmo fed ex. He should be there by the 22nd they said.

I gotta go back and read to see what else I am forgetting to comment on.

Karen, Welcome back!!! It is good to hear from you again.

Heidi, I love that picture too. There is another one of her when we were at Margaritaville with a balloon hat on doing an impression of the statue of liberty. It totally cracks me up everytime I see it.

Sandy, my parents are pretty young. Mom was still in HS when they got married. Had me when she was 19.

Jrsy, Jacob decided he wanted to do TOT when we went in December. I wasn't convinced that he would like it. We went on it and he was absolutely terrified. He was screaming and crying. I felt SO bad This year we didn't ride it. Well, he and I didn't. Rachel and Brad did go ride it. They did enjoy it. I have ridden Tower of Doom here at Elitches. I would probably ride it again, but the TOT I didn't really like the up and down of it.

Wow, Heidi, you are going to be out of town a LONG time. I was thinking we need to find some time to have a dismeet here in my backyard before the weather gets bad.
