Good morning. Got in to work early today so that I can go to Elitches tomorrow after work.

Oh Selena, don't worry. I won't meet up with them. I am free of kids and no more amusement parks for me!! Yahoo! That means that we won't take the grandkids either Heidi! LOL

Jeff is off in a week and we are taking the kids to Paramount Carowinds in Charlotte, NC. It is only an hour away.

Hi everyone, sorry I have kind of been MIA this week. It has been crazy. I normally only work 3 days a weeks, but I picked up an extra day this week because we had 3 people on vacation. So not only did I have an extra day, they were pretty long days too. Then we had something to do every night this week on top of it. Thursday I was off, but we had dentist, eye doctor and I had to take Max to the vet. Time to rest a little bit. I think we might go to the movies this morning, then I promised Rachel I would take her to get french manicure stuff and I promised Jacob we would go to Barnes and Noble.

It sounds like everyone has been having fun. Selena your trip to Vegas sounds fun! It would be fun to meet up there next year, but I am not sure we can. We kind of got sucked into going to Brad's family's 75th annual reunion in Nebraska and I think it might be the last week of July. How long are you guys planning on going for, maybe we could swing a couple of days.

Heidi, how was Elitch's? Did you get out before the monsoon? Boy, it was really coming down for awhile yesterday. My grass sure needed it though.

Nope we didn't get out, we had to take cover in the Merry go round. Boy was the lightning bad and man did it ever pour. They closed Elitches at 6:00 so we got free tickets but we still had to go to the lightrail, so it was very cold and very wet!!!!

We were suppose to go horseback riding today but they cancelled us again because of the rain last night. So now we are not sure what to do, hopefully Bear Creek stables will take us, I have a call into them.

We were caught in the lightening while camping. WOW, talk about monsoon rain while driving down there!! Then today we did the last of hauling out stuff out of Ted's dads house. It sold without us even putting it on the market. They wanted to close in two weeks so we have been scrambling the last two weeks to get everything done. We were out in the rain, thunder and horrendous lightening today. It is now over. It was very hard to say goodbye to so many memories. Of course, I cried. I realized how much I missed his parents.

Mom - that would have been so tough. I don't even want to think about it or else I cry!! Way too many memories up there. Tonight is picture night!!!

We were in Moab for the weekend. It was our first visit and, man, what a stunningly beautiful area! I took a lot of pictures, so I will share them once I get them uploaded from the camera.

I didn't hear that there was bad rain in our area on Friday. We drove into a downpour in Moab when we arrived on Thursday. We could see all the way from I-70 that there was a dark cloud over our destination. It cleared out pretty quickly, though, but it was one of those storms that makes you think "flash flood."

Jrsy - Moab is beautiful. I remember the beautiful views and it has been many years since I was there. The Arches is amazing. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Well we met with the photographer last night and signed the contract. They were great and took amazing pictures. They are very very flexible and are willing to do anything. My mom has always wanted a family picture with everyone that is casual and I asked him how much he would charge to do that for us and he said nothing, he would only charge for the prints that we would want and he would give us the CD with pictures. We also didn't want an engagement session so he knocked off $75 from the price but he said he would still want to take pictures of us at the park and he would give us the pictures on a CD for free, so we really are getting an engagement session....just not the 2 8x10's and will save $75!!!!

Jrsy - we thought about you and my mom asked what the time guarantee was and it is 4 weeks!!!! So not bad I didn't think, he said some brides take longer so it may take a little more time if I take my time on choosing!!
