Well....the West would be even closer! LOL!

We decided on the East because I don't know that far in advance what days in May my kids will have recitals! LOL!

But, if we get closer and the dates in Aug don't work for dh we are changing to West!!!

I know of one other couple from the 10nt that are doing the West -- Jill & Matt our honeymoon couple! I don't know if you met them but, they are both really nice and fun!

Steph - Jill and Matt are going...that would be cool to meet up with them again. We hung out with them at Castaway Cay and Chris and I also went snorkeling at Antigua with them.

Oh my gosh. I loved Jill and Matt. We shopped a little with them at Barbados, went turtle snorkeling with them and hung out at CC too. I think they are absolutely the sweetest! I hope we take the east now!

You know that dryer that DH bought for $279? Well, he gets it home and it doesn't work. He took it apart to see if maybe a wire had come loose, but couldn't see anything so he is taking it back this morning and is going to get us another one. (not for $279). The old one is sounding terrible. He keeps telling me he can fix it, but with it being probably 25 years old I want a new one. I deserve it right?

Today is the Mardi Gras Ball. As soon as I get off of work I get to bring Aerial to get her nails done & her hair and makeup done and then we are off to the ball. I am chaperoning, so I should get to take lots of pics.

Guess what you guys????????? Are you sitting down???????? Ted and I are going to Cancun to an all inclusive this Saturday for 7 nights. I am sooooo excited. It was absolutely not planned and I think that is what is so much fun about the whole thing. I am still torn on the Panama Canal cruise so I told Ted that before I cancelled that I wanted to do some research on all inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean like Curacao and Antigua. We had breakfast Sat morning and headed to a travel agency for booklets. She was so sweet and took the time and explained everything to us. Then jokingly she said, if you can go next Saturday I have a heck of a deal for you. We are saving 1000.00. We left and then were talking in the car and decided to book if we both could get the time off. The rest is history. Off we go to Cancun. It has the ruins by it and we get free entry to the Xcaret water park that Disney has as an excursion to.

Cristi, Brad sounds "practical" like Ted. You deserve a new dryer! Can't wait to hear the outcome.

Marcie, a Mardi Gras Ball sounds so interesting and fun! How was it?

Selena, when is your upcoming cruise?

It was so cold here on Friday. I was wishing I was with Jrsy! Hope he is having the time of his life. Also, hoping that the rain in FL didn't affect Orlando.

No Superbowl here. Too excited to concentrate on anything! I have so much to do. I never even thought about it all when we decided to book. By the way, it is an Apple Vacation trip. Never have done one so hope it all turns out ok. I know Heidi did a trip one time by them and had a good time.

Time for bed. Do you think that I will sleep tonight?? Too excited last night.

Sandy that is great!!!! I am really excited for you! Maybe someday when the kids are moved out we can do a spur of the moment trip too.

We got our new dryer on Saturday. It is really big and it has an auto dry sensor thing on it.

Gotta go to work!!

The Colts won the superbowl. I thought it was a pretty good game. Not very many funny commercials that were memorable.
