cranberry bread issues....HELP!

Ok bakers....can you help me?? I love cranberry bread but anytime I make it...it comes out DARK...almost like it were banana bread!!

I thought I had found the problem..I was using butter instead of crisco...so this time I used that. It STILL came out dark!!!
I went through the recipe with my sister and we use the same exact thing....same temp and cooking time.

Anyone have any ideas whats going on here???

Would you please post your recipe and cooking directions? That might make it a little easier to figure out.
