Craftmatic Bed?

My mom is looking into one of the Crafticmatic beds at a cost of $4,700!!!! I checked epinions and the results are that people either love them or hate them. I think it is a big rip off for seniors. Does anyone here have any experience with this bed/company?

I remember many years ago seeing them on investigative shows like 20/20 and how bad of quality they were, and I thought they were out of business after that.
