Crabbing & Shrimping in the Orlando Area????

Has anyone done this before and have any information. We did this on our own in Oregon last year, by renting some pots. It was the hi-light of my DS's trip. We have been to Florida many times and have never done it here, but I am sure it would be a blast. Any info would be greatly appreicated!!!

Is there a specific pier that we could crab from there?? We have only been out that way once to go to Kennedy. Do you know of any piers off St. Petersburg??
