We are planning our next trip and can't figure out where to stay. I like the idea of the CR because of the monorail but dh likes th idea of PO-R because it's cheaper... I also love WL but the transportation seems to be scary. What to do?

I don't understand, why is WL transportation so "scary"? It was wonderful during our Sept trip. Better than CR.

CR is a wonderful resort, but I would not stay there just because of the monorail. Monorail is nice a/k/a "cool", but it still takes forever to get to Epcot.

Remember, all resorts either share buses or have multiple stops, with the exception of AKL.

Pick the resort that most apeals to you and is closest to where you'll be spending most of your time.

I have to vote for the Wilderness Lodge. It is a beautiful resort!! Just returned a few weeks ago and had a great visit. I used the boats to get to the Magic Kingdom and to the Contemporary Resort/Monorail and the buses for everything else. The only time I had to wait more than 15 minutes for a bus was going to Downtown Disney and on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to and from MGM Studios. Other than that, I found the bus service good.

Make sure you give yourself enough cushion time to get to a special event or meal and you'll be fine.

I love the Wilderness Lodge and am already planning my next trip to stay there again.
