CR - Tower Theme Park view room ok?

Help - never stayed at CR - getting ready to book Tower, theme park view room - any negatives I should keep in mind?

The only negative I can think of I'm not joining you.

One of my favorite rooms. Last time (10/2008) we had theme park concierge level. When my DM83 (at the time) laid on the bed when we first checked in and she was looking a Cinderella's castle, her first comment was "I never thought I'd see this view again." The last time she and my Dad were at WDW was 1988 and they stayed at POFQ, the last time she and my dad were in the Tower theme park view was 1981!!!! 27 years prior . A LOT had changed for them.

Only thing I don't like is the view of the parking lot.

I've stayed in the wing room many times. Last year was my first time staying in the tower with MK view. The view is absolutely magical. The only probelm is once you stay there you will never want to stay anywhere else.

The view is amazing! The only negative that I can think of is on our last stay in the tower, the volume from Chef Mickey's can be quite loud and usually ends relatively late (11pm - ish).

The music coming from Chef Mickey's although others don't seem mind it, so it's a matter of personal opinion.

We are booked for CR Tower MK View and are VERY excited about it. I have always wanted to stay on the monorail line and have the view of Cinderella's castle as I get up in the morning or right before I go to bed at night. I am so looking forward for our September trip

On our last trip, last Spring our family had the privilege of staying at the Contemporary tower room. Every night I went to sleep watching the castle change colors. The view UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!!!!! The noise from Chef Mickey's was loud when we opened the door to atrium. With the door closed NOTHING. We were literally on top of CM. I am a light sleeper and the early ADR's at CM's did not phase me. YOU SCORED BIGTIME !!!!

Negatives? I m trying really hard to think of one

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday and I set up my tripod and took AMAZING shots of MK esp the castle it was even warm enough (67 degrees) that I bundled up in a blanket and stayed on the balcony from 4am watched the colors changed on the castle until sunrise! All I can say is ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY!!!

We stayed in the tower in 2003 and had a MK view room on the floor just under club level, so we were higher up. I honestly did not hear the CM noise that others talk about. Maybe since we were higher up? Anyway, I would request as high a floor as possible for that reason and for the best view. We absolutely loved our stay there and being in the tower. The parking lot would be the only drawback, but even that isnt too bad. Your eyes are just drawn to the castle, sm, etc. so you dont even really notice!

No negatives from me, this is DS DREAM spot, one day it will happen....cost is the only negative I can come up with , but if that is not an issue you are really have quite the primo reservation....the rooms are lage, daybed is great to have, location SWEEEEEEET...and the view? One of the most coveted at WDW. I agree that the biggest downside is not wanting to stay anywhere else...but then again, maybe once you have been able to experience it youare more free to try other resorts/views. Havr a great time and take a ton of pictures from your balconey!

Looooooooooveeeee the CR!! Have only stayed MK view rooms and as another poster said, the only negative is once you've done it you wont want to do anything else. I'm trying to branch out and try different resorts, but my heart strings always pull me towards CR.
