Can someone give me an update on what rooms have been renovated at the CR. South Wing? North Wing? Tower?

I just talked to a CR CM on Sunday and they are just finishing up the 10th floor and the 12th will be next. She said that they will then start refurbishing from the bottom floor and work there way up. I did not ask about the Wings. I just called the CR number directly and the woman I talked to was very helpful. She excused herself to ask a manager so that the info she was giving me was correct. Hope this helps!

Bottom Floor UP?!?!?! WHAT.. OH boy Thats BAAAD...

I called the CR yesterday and had the front desk manager tell me the exact opposite, that 10 and 9 are undergoing refurb right now, then 12, and then working their way DOWN!!!!

I believe when you call the CR (or any WDW resort) you are really connected to a call center, not the resort front desk.

You are absolutely right.. im guessing. Which is why i specifically asked to be transferred to the front desk manager and/or room assignment supervisor to ask my question, was put on hold for a few moments and then came back to someone with kids squealing in the background and the noise of a hotel very prevlent.

That is kinda funny! I asked for the front desk also and could also tell it was by the noise! Obviously one of them was wrong! The CM I talked to was actually reading off a piece of paper or the computer screen because she read it to me verbatim and quoted the dates and everything!! Who knows?

We were there the first week of August in the South Wing. The wing that tees off from the lobby of that building was closed off and being renovated. The long corridor where you enter the South Wing from the main building was still open and not renovated.

It looked like it would be a while before the part being renovated would be completed. Ceilings were out, flooring was pulled up. Didn't see the rooms, though. Most had the built in furniture removed and were empty.
