Cr pools?

So what are they like for little kids? We have a 6 yr old and 3 yr old. Thanks!

It's very big, has a great slide and amazing kids splash play area.

Speaking from a parents POV:

Unless you kids are expert swimmers, it's a HORRIBLE pool. We stayed when my dd was 2.5 and 4.5. She was not a swimmer at that point. The pool was well over her head. I had to hold her and "swim" her when she wanted to be in the water. I could not leave her for a minute for fears she might fall in.

I love this resort. We will stay again. My dd is now older and an expert swimmer. When she was little, we were much happier at WL.

I am guessing CR is the Caribbean Resort. I thought the pool was excellent, fun theme, great slide. The pool was not really that deep but I could see if your child was just a toddler who can't swim it wouldn't work. The water play area was designed for the little ones and it is great! I wanted to play on it, but my DD15 and DD11 thought I would embarass them

Up to now, it is my fav slide at WDW but we're staying at BCV in March so we'll see if their slide wins out.

LOL - I think there is a thread somewhere with all of the acronims. In this case I believe CR is Contemporarty Resort - Caribbean Beach Resort is ususally CBR

hehe... I knew I would eventually miss one. Thought there were 3 letters for Caribbean, but just couldn't think of another CR resort. hehe..

Oh well, never seen the pool at CR or the new BLT.... looking forward to BLT one day soon though. Probably just me and DW and no kids for that resort

Its easy to get confused. I found the acronims thread:

We've not been to the CR or BLT yet either - but we will be at BLT in just about one month. Its just Dh and I and we are looking very forward to the trip

Not to start an argument or get off topic BUT... All children should be well supervised in & around water and should never be left... even for a minute.

We just got home from the CR and my 3.5 yr old LOVED the pool! He is an ok swimmer so we put him in a life jacket. My DH and DS loved the pool so much they even went in the rain!! Hope y'all have a great vacation! Merry Christmas!!!

Was this recently? I ask b/c I think the pool or pools have been re-done.
