CR - Polyn

I have that the CR open Oct 1, 1971 the same day that the MK opened.

but that Polyn did not open until Oct 25, 1971. They are claiming they opened at the same time.

anyone know for sure?

I've been told that CR was the first resort to open because the Polyn had a computer problem that prevented them from opening at the same time, October 1, 1971. The computer problem was solved and the Polyn came on line about a minute later.

Everything I've found claims that the Poly did infact open on October 1, 1971 with the Magic Kingdom and Contemporary Resort. The Magic Kingdom's official park dedication was not made until October 25, 1971 to ensure everything ran smoothly.

Can I asked where you found it said 10/25/1971 as the opening?

the ewp says it open on oct 26, - the same day that the Polyn did.

have a book - WDW the beginning - it was done in the late 70's.

the definitely mention everyone working the night before on the Cont - even saying some guys forgot how to well (okay I know I am not spelling that one right)

but not one word of the Polyn opening at the same time.
