CR in November Platinum Plan qUESTION

I'm taking DH to WDW for his 40th b'day. We've booked a room in the 14th floor with an MK view. Disney is guaranteeing a King bed, should I trust that? From what I've read here there are not any King bed rooms on the 14th floor. In addition to this being DH birthday it's our long delayed (5 years) honeymoon. Which is why we opted for this trip of a lifetime. Any tips or ideas on how to make this ultra special for DH and take advantage of Concierge and Platinum Plan would be hugely appreciated. Also, is it appropriate to bring a gift for the concierge (is there one or several)? I heard I can tip up to $75.00 is that per day or per trip? Thanks.

We were booked into the 14th floor Contemporary at the end of May and had requested two queen beds. Unfortunately, the hotel had closed our room for roof construction and wanted to move us to the 12th floor. We declined and were eventually moved to a concierge floor at another hotel, but we were offered a king bed on the 14th floor as an alternative. The king bed would not work for us, but apparently they do have them.

please use the platinum plan to its fullest advantage, this means go to Victoria and Alberts, California Grill, Jiko's, Yachtsman Steakhouse, room service(you get the idea). Use the recreation, since you will be at CR that is where Sammy Duvalls is, go parasailing and other water activities. Also let the platinum planner suggest other things for you, make sure to do the special viewing areas, and the platinum plan cruise as well. And one more thing make sure you and your husband do a spa treatment over at the GF spa.
