CR Garden Wings

We've stayed in both wings and didn't have a problem with either. The hallways are long, so if you're trying to avoid a long walk, try to get a room near the wing entrance. The wing rooms are not as popular as the tower rooms, so you should have little trouble requesting one. We prefer the wings....they are quieter and the atmosphere is calmer. Size of the rooms is the same; they are large rooms. :)

Actually on this very web site if you look at the resort it lists a kiddie pool. Is this wrong?

The other posters are correct. Neither are kiddie pools.

so whats the diffrence between a garden room and a standard room or are they the same thing? So do they face MK? Could you watch the fireworks from your room?

thanks
robyn

Of the 3 rooms I have stayed at in the N Garden Wings, from two of them we could see the fireworks. My favorite room of the 3 was 7232; kind of a hike, but we had a gorgeous view of the edge of Bay Lake, and at night we could turn towards the MK (looking out our slider window) and see the fireworks. It was awesome. I can't remember the room number, but for one night we stayed in a room with a view of Space Mtn and the fireworks...the room we had to switch to (they gave mom and I a king bed and we wanted two queens) just had a boring view of the parking lot. (although we could see the monorails going by).

N Garden is definitely closer to the MK and the food and fun center.

Man I miss it...wish I were going back soon.

We had room 8031 I think...facing MK and the monorail track...loved it! Saw the fireworks each night form the room if we had left the parks, and then walked to the dock to see the EWP. We were first floor and kids fed ducks each a.m. on the patio. I could not believe this was a standard view...we were offered an upgrade to water st check in but turned it down as we wanted to see the castle, and glad we did! We loved watching the monorail gong back and fourth also, and had a short walk to the food court/arcade area. Also, you do not have to walk all the way to the main doors of the tower building for the food court, there is a regular/stairwell door just a few steps after the covered walkway from the N. wing...leads you right to the food court! You will really like the CR, the rooms are huge!

We reserved a standard wing room at CR last July and again last week. Both times I requested (and got) a North wing room on the end nearest the Food and Fun Center. Our room numbers were 7385 (July) and 7283 (last week) and both faced MK and we could see the castle, fireworks, and space mtn. from our window. It was less than 1 minute to walk from our room to the Food and Fun center. Just out the door of the North wing, 20 seconds across the covered plaza and into the back door of the food court/arcade. Perfect!
