CR Garden Wing Views

I've been trying to find pictures of the garden view rooms of the CR and have not been successful. I have only been able to find pictures of the tower rooms. If any one has any I'd appreciate a link.

Also I have heard that the tower rooms have been remodeled. Have the rooms in the south wing have been remodeled?

there is only the south wing. the north wing is gone.

and yes the south wing was completely before the tower was finished.

basically this is next to the lagoon that connects seven seas lagoon to bay lake - so has some nice water views on one side.

the other side has views of the Cont - swimming pool, etc plus of course the big blank plastic sheet that the construction company is putting up where the north wing was.

what is going up will either be a DVC resort (hope), Cont suites or a combination of both.

It will be pretty wonderful!!!

Are the garden view pictures the set of photos labeled: Contemporary Resort's New Guest Rooms? If you look at the slide show these are labeled as tower rooms.

Is there much difference besides the view between rooms in the wing and those that are in the tower? It seems that everyone that raves about CR has stayed in the tower and am concerned about the rooms in the south wing.

the new rooms are the same regardless.

the problem I had with the wings was no balcony. the second floor does not have a balcony. the first floor has a patio.

I like to be outside from my room.

We were there May 05 and the North Wing was in the process of remodeling...the inside units were done but they were painting and wallpapering the hallways. The view we had was the parking lot

no the rooms might be a little bigger but not much.

the difference is the tower. the monrail runs through the tower. but the views of the Bay lake, seven seas lagoon, plus of course the MK - are so much better than the wing.

and as I say no balcony. I happen to love a balcony. the only time I don't miss one is staying at the Pop - they don't have them period. So I don't feel like I am being cheated. At the CR I definitely feel leftout.

like more resorts you are paying extra for the view.

Yes, you'd need a tent to stay there now!

Seriously, the wing rooms are just as nice as the tower - you are only paying for location in the tower.
