Hi!

We definitely want to stay in AsMo for the first 4/5 days of our trip. I have resservations at the Dolphin for the last 5 days (RN discount). However, I have always wanted to stay at a monorail resort. Would LOVE Poly but at $400/night a little steep. I can get CR Garden Wing for $300/night (still a little more than 2 rooms at Dolphin with my discount). We love the MK and MGM. Not big fans of Epcot or AK (at least not with the kids). I know the tower rooms of CR are "magical" but are the garden wings as nice? Don't need anything breathtaking but would like at least a clean/nice room for that price. What's your opinion?

We were at the CR in August. We stayed in the South Garden Wing on the second floor with a pool view at $139 a night (plus tax). The room was huge and quite nice. The resort was beautiful and we liked the location. The only thing we did not like and it would probably keep us from staying there again; was the noise level. We could hear every word spoken in the room next door and lots of noise from the pool. The hallways were also quite noisey. I never got to sleep before about 1 am and the noise would start up again about 6:30 or 7 am. I know I am a light sleeper so I am sure there are many who are never bothered. By the way, we also stayed at the Dolphin during the same trip. Loved it!! I asked for a quiet floor after the first week at the CR and they gave us a room on the 11th floor. It was wonderful. We heard two people talking one night and that was it for the whole week. I would try the CR that way you can decide for yourself.

Hi onceuponadream! We stayed at the Contemporary, South Garden wing in January. We had a Bay Lake view, and LOVED it! We could watch the Electrical Light Pageant from bed, and hear the music with the doors open. We were on the 3rd floor.

We loved the energy and brightness of the resort. It was really convenient to everything, and had the best transportation of any of the other resorts. The walk to MK was a breeze, too!

The Food and Fun area was nice, the food was good, and the arcade is HUGE!

The pools, although it was way to cold to use them, were clean and would have been great, had it not been 32 degrees outside. There are 2 nice hottubs, as well, and there is a slide in the main pool.

We loved the coffee bar under the esculator in the lobby.

Check in was a breeze, the CM's were very nice and helpful, and the rooms were kept neat and clean.

We took advantage of the character caravan too... it was a lot of fun... I believe it was on Tues/Thurs and Sat, but you may want to check at the front desk.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We love the CR wings. We actually prefer the wings over the tower. It is so peaceful in those rooms, especially the one's right on the lake. I love to watch and listen to the boats coming and going. The cm's have always been friendly and the rooms have always been clean. I have no complaints at all with the CR wing rooms.
