CR Concierge Price?

Does any one pay full price for concierge level or are there codes that help that price? I dont mean to sound cheap but it is just my 6 year old and I and it seems like a bit much. I did book a CR MK view rm and asked for as high up as possible (hinted at 12/14) Any advice? Thanks.

If you book CR concierge, you are not guaranteed a theme park view. Just wanted you to be aware, if you were not already.

If you are a AAA member, you can get 15 percent discount off deluxe rooms during value season, and 10 percent the rest of the year. Rooms available at these rates are limited though.

I have a AAA discounted room booked at WL conceirge, but no, I don't pay full price for anything. I do know there is a AAA discount avail for CR conceirge right now, if you have AAA. CR CL is on the 12th and 14th floors, none others.

We stayed in a MK view room last December and we were on the 8th floor and the view was spectacular. We were about the 4th room from the end nearest the park. I know Cinderella Castle Christmas lights were lit until about 4am each day, so we left the curtains open and used it as a night light. It was definitely worth the price after the discount.

There is a conceirge MK View listed as being avail, but I do know there aren't many of those.

The only Club Level rooms at the Contemporary that come with a guaranteed Magic Kingdom view are the various suites on the 14th floor with the words Magic Kingdom view in their description. Also requesting a Magic Kingdom view on the highest possible floor does not increase your chance of an upgrade to the 12th or 14th floor, because free upgrades are totally random and come up on the computer when you check-in.

Yes that's correct. When calling CRO if you wish to stay on the Atrium Club (12th floor) or Tower Club (14th floor) you need to tell them that.

I don't know when you're going, but, I booked CR last Oct, room only, AP, got a 40% discount for my stay.
In 15 more days I'll be doing the same thing at the Poly and did get a 40% discount there too !!

i have never stayed rack rate for concierge. always a general discount or ap discount, when i had an ap.

If you are still calling CRO and are being told it's sold out the last option you have is asking at check-in if Club Level is available. Of course that means you would be willing to spend the extra $ to upgrade, assuming they tell you a room is available and you also have to consider it could be a room on the Bay Lake side and not the Magic Kingdom side.

Not just ask for it, but actually make your reservation for Club Level, and at the rates being charged for that level of service.

I believe there are some sort of discounts through AAA. I am not sure how much as we have both AP and AAA. They will give a discount if available. Concierge MK View at CR 14th only includes 3 standard rooms the rest of the rooms 14th floor are suites and bay lake views. 12th floor offers many more MK View Rooms, you can request these but there are no guarantees.
The 12th floor does not has deluxe services but is at a more modest price.

If you are not going to go concierge you can reserve and actually pay for CR Tower MK View rooms. Bay lake view and MK View rooms in the tower are 2 different categories of rooms. They started doing this several years ago.

Concierge rooms are expensive and you really should consider you needs. How often will you be utilizing the services of the concierge? Do you forsee using the lounge often or spending more time in the parks? How important is the view?

It's personal choice.

This is true- we do as most I would assume spend most time at the parks. We also do not do the DDP by personal choice.The only thing about concierge is that there are snacks and cokes when my son is hungry at late hours and I enjoy hanging out there even if only for an hour or two. I think we even ate breakfast a few times there the one time we did concierge.

The 12th and 14th floors both serve the same exact snacks so you have nothing worry about. In fact here is a description of both floors which I wrote that should help you out.

On the 12th Floor Concierge, the Atrium Club, both the MK View and Bay Lake View are by request only and cannot be guaranteed. If the MK View is your top priority, you may be better off booking a standard MK View room in the Tower.

With the Tower Club there are a total of 16 rooms, 5 standard rooms and 11 suites: 1 & 2 Bedroom Suites, a Vice Presidential Suite and a Presidential Suite. With the standard rooms, there is no guarantee of a Magic Kingdom or Bay Lake View. However with the Suites , you will be booked into a particular room which will indicate Magic Kingdom or Bay Lake. You will be guaranteed to have that specific room view. There are 4 Standard Magic Kingdom view rooms and 1 standard Bay Lake View room on the 14th floor.

The lounge on the 12th floor is bigger with more seating then the 14th floor concierge lounge. They converted 3 standard rooms into the 12th floor lounge, so there are 3 balconies available on the MK side for all Concierge guests to watch the fireworks. The lounge on the 14th floor also offers seating outside on the balcony, which is something that is not offered on the 12th floor lounge.

Finally both floors serve the exact same foods for breakfast, afternoon snacks, 5:00 PM hors d'oeuvres and 8:00 PM deserts & cordials. The 12th floor Atrium Club is less expensive then the 14th floor Tower Club, even though on both floors offer the exact same service. The 14th floor is more expensive because fewer number of total rooms and Suites.
