CR Concierge - opinions needed

Okay I splurged BIG TIME and added 3 nights to our vacation in August with a 3 night stay at the Contemporary 14th floor concierge reservation. We will be spending 7 nights at the Dolphin and then the final three at the CR.

I have to make my deposit soon and dh is questioning me about if it is really worth it to do this. I have stayed at CR before (attending a conference a few years ago) but never with my family. We usually end our last few nights at GF - which I love and dh does too. He was perfectly fine with 3 nights at the end at GF but questioning the CR 14th floor being "worth it"

Anyone have thoughts - good, bad, ugly about the CR 14th floor?
I can still change my plans...
