CR 12th floor concierge check in

I thought that when you checked in for the 12th floor at the CR that you used the regular check in. I received a call today that said to go to the concierge check in when I arrived at the CR. Is thiis correct or do I need to call back and find out?

this has just changed as of Sunday, the food service will end at 4pm but someone will be at the desk till 10pm

but when we were there(rm 1238 or 1438) we had to check in initially downstairs.i can't see how they can change that since only people with rooms on 12th and 14th were allowed to get go on those floors as their keys(cards) were the only ones that the elevator would allow on those floors.we had the concierge club service,which was great, but if the desk shuts down at 4pm are they still offering it?never cared too much for the concierge part but the afternoon and evening snacks were a great idea!

We check in a week from Monday. I can't believe it. This is our first trip. We have not even told the girls(12, 10, and 8). They don't know we are going. I am so excited. When the person called today she asked what time we would be arriving. I asked her why and she said that they would have housecleaining clean our room so that it would be ready when we checked in. That is when she said we needed to check in at concierge not at the regular check in. I thought that this was new. Seems that it is really new. Thanks
