Based on various suggestions on the board, we've now switched to 8:15 CP on November 29th with dinner at 5:50 at Garden Grille. Will that give us plenty of time to get to CP?
Thanks!

Most likely you should be fine. I should warn you though that we did Garden Grille for our CP package last year. We had the first CP seating of the night, so we ate after the show. When we got to GG, the waiting area was packed. It was the first night of CP, and somehow there were too many PSs or they had accepted too many walk-ups. Anyway, some of the people we talked to had PSs and had been waiting for over an hour. We had been told to expect a long wait, but we sat down in less than 45 minutes. (I think it was closer to 30.)

The good thing about GG is that the food is easy to serve, even if you are seated late. I'm sure if you mentioned to the person seating people and to your server that you had tickets for CP, they would try to get you moving as quickly as possible, even if there was a bit of a wait.

I would also check the schedule for the Tapestry of Dreams parade when the times are posted. You can't get to CP as fast when the streets are blocked and you have to maneuver the crowds. There's not much you can do about it, except be aware and try and leave the restaurant in time. Have a great time!

Yes, you should have plenty of time to get there, but there are two caveats: get to your PS early so that there is a chance you will get seated early; and don't underestimate the line to get into CP. We arrived about 90 minutes prior to our CP show (after eating dinner), right after the previous show began, and we were well back in the line to get into the reserved seating area.

Thanks, Doctor P. I just called and got the PS changed from 5:50 to 5:30 p.m. Better safe!

I think you did the right thing by changing your PS bo 5:30. Last year, we had a PS at GG for 4:40 (I think) and then went to the 6:45pm show. Since we had a really early dinner PS, we didn't have any wait. At 5:30, you might have a bit of a wait.

Enjoy!
Beth
