CP w/o package

The cost of the CP package does seem awfully high this year (both cash and DP credits), so if you wanted a seat without it, how early would you have to get in the "other" line? Also, if you end up standing, will they let you fill in right behind the seats, or do you have to stay further back? Thank you.

Hard to say this year. With the price/TS credits being so high, many people are going to forgo the package and wait in the standby lines. In previous years, I have seen people that have waited for 2 hrs. in that standby line!!! Most get there at least an hour before the start of the show they want to attend.
The way entrance has been handled in the past....those with the package are allowed to enter the theater about 15-20 mins before the show starts. Then, about 8 mins before it starts, those in the standby line are allowed entrance. There are no set seats for those with the package...so those in the standby line are free to fill in those empty seats wherever they find them.
I think there will be more empty seats due to the fewer packages being sold, but on the other hand, there will be almost double the number of guests in the standby lines!!
