CP Spring 2007

Anyone else thinking this far ahead? I AM!

I want to wait until I'm 21 so that I don't have to deal with the wellness/non-wellness living situation.

I am thinking of doing it the semester before I student teach, which would be around then! I think it would be so much fun!

I'm thinking about the future too, I want to be a part of the CP in Spring 2007 also. I am a freshman right now and wanted to get a year of college completed before I thought about applying and I also didnt want to do the fall program because I didnt want to do the program and then have to return to school for the second half of my sophmore year I would rather do it the other way around. Depending on the date I go down I will be 19 about to be 20 or be 20 by the time I get down there. Hopefully more people are thinking about next year, I'm sure it will be a great time for everyone that goes.

How long is it going to take for a year to go by. I keep reading posts from people that are going down or have been down already and I just want to go there now. I feel kind of left out since so many people are on their way down now. If I do get accepted I want to do the Advantage program, I am a huge Disney fan and want to spend as much time down there as I possibly can. Also looking forward to meeting a bunch of new people on the program next year, possibly some people from this board. Lets hope that 2007 comes fast so next years hopefuls can become CP members.

I interviewed last fall, but because of scheduling nightmares, I was forced to decline the program for this semester. So you have no idea how hard it is to be here this semester!! haha- but I am totally planning on doing the CP for the Spring 2007, and I hope to get one of the advanced internships one day.

...and, I'll get to celebrate my 21st birthday down in Disney (2nd birthday in WDW!!) Hope to see you all down there!

I am definitely hoping that i get into this program in the spring. With all the changes that have been happening at the Company it makes me want to work for them all the more. My birthday is January 15th so if I make it into the spring program depending on what date I get down there I will either be 20 or just about to turn 20 once I am down there. I know though that if I don't get into this program that I will be very disappointed, it has always been a dream of mine to work for the Disney Company and I look at this like a foot in the door. If I do make it in I hope to do this program and then the next year do a Advanced Internship, if i had my way I would one day be in Tom Staggs position as the CFO, since I am in college for accounting I think that is possible. Anyone else thinking about applying for spring 2007 that wants to talk you can im me at gqman87, I hope to make it and hope that I meet a lot of people that love Disney as much as I do.

I am hoping to apply for the Spring 2007 CP. This is the only time that it will work for me so I am waiting for the time that they start the Spring recruiting process...so very anxious...

GumDrop; that is my situation as well! I applied last year for Fall 2005, but unfortunately scheduling problems made me decline and spring 2007 would be the only time I could do it! It will be my last semester of school and I am so excited! I will probobly be applying for an advanced internship! Does anyone know if you can apply for more then one that you are interested in? Thanks!
