We have pre-opening ressies at CP for our upcoming trip (6 days - woo-hoo!), but I don't know the logistics for getting into the MK that early. I did a search and most people recommended taking the resort bus (we're staying at Pop) instead of driving to the ttc; don't the buses just take you to the ttc or do they actually go to the MK? I didn't think there was any way to get to the MK other than ferry/monorail. Could someone please walk me through how to get into the MK that early as well as telling me how much time to allot to get there?

Thanks a ton!

The bus from your resort takes you right to the bus stop at MK, not the TTC...so you shouldn't have any problems. Just make sure you have your reservation time and number ready and you shouldn't have any problems. Enjoy your breakfast---we plan on doing this our last day in WDW this year, can't wait to see Main Street nearly empty! :cool1:

Ditto pp. The bus will leave you right at the MK, totally bypasses the TTC which is awesome! When you get to the park you'll see a sign that says something like "Breakfast" so you'll know where to go to get in. We weren't asked for our ADR number, but we had it handy just in case we were asked. Main Street is AWESOME when is empty!!!!!

Thanks for the info!! We're hoping to do the same and were wondering exactly the same as the OP.

Slighty off topic, but if we had an early ADR at Kona Cafe in the Poly could we get the bus to MK and then get the resot monorail to the Poly??

The monorails are running per another thread that dh posted -- we're doing the same thing while we're there. Because of the strollers, we're going to go to TTC instead of taking the buses (2 strollers including a double) since the buses really don't accommodate strollers.

We're going to do this when we go to CM's as well -- we're going to get to TTC by no later than 7 or 7:15 for 7:45 ressies. That's the one that dh found out we can do this with the monorail....

But realize this probably isn't the most time-efficient way to do this -- we have to do something different because, as I mentioned, the strollers....

That would probably be the best way. If you were staying in an Epcot area resort and trying to get to the Poly for lunch or dinner, you could also walk to the monorail outside of Epcot, taking it to the TTC and then walking across the road to the Poly. :thumbsup2

Thanks annnewjerz

You would happen to know how early the monorail starts running? And whether buses actually run from resorts to TTC - we're staying at POFQ

Sorry for being off thread - again!

In my past experience the monorail starts running by 7:20-7:30, when we did the train tour a group was late because they used the monorail- we were due there at 7:15 for check in. There are no buses directly to the TTC- they go to the MK and then you can get on the resort monorail there to go to an ADR at a monorail resort.

Thanks for this - will just need to make sure ADR is for after the monorail starts running!! :)

Thanks for the info - all the stuff I'm picking up here at the DIS is really going to enhance our trip!

You should have no problem getting to the park for early ADR's. Check with your hotel, the busses start very early in the AM for those who have early ADR's, we have taken that early bus from several hotels including POP. Just remember to check at the hotel and be at the bus stop early. The cast members will make a line for the people who have ADR's. at least that is how it has worked each time for us. We are going again in a few weeks and will be taking advantage of early busses for CP as well.
