CP or Tusker

can't decide between crystal palace or tusker house for character breakfast. am a little worried about the african flavors. not a spice family. any suggestions appreciated.

Well, which park are you planning to visit that morning?

It is cool to walk into AK when it's virtually empty. TH has some different selections, but it also has the favorites (scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, mickey waffles, fruit, pastries, etc.) It's nice to walk over to the safari afterwards for a short or no wait. Characters are Daisy, Mickey, and Goofy.

It's even cooler to walk down an empty Main Street. CP would be my choice because I love the food they offer. The puffy french toast rocks. CP has the Pooh characters.

Both are good. CP is better in my opinion.

Tusker house has regular breakfast food.

we did them both last february. both were very good but i would prefer crystal palace for breakfast and then book tusker for lunch where you get preferred seating for the nemo musical. this was great . the lunch at tusker was very good and then you go right in to a special seating area for the nemo show with no waiting in line. check the online reservation site, but this ticket was available to all who ate within a certain time period during lunch. no extra cost but definitely a great experience. good luck!

We ate at both last December (along with 4 other character breakfasts) and Tusker House was our favorite. The buffet has a ton of selections, mostly traditional type breakfast food. We also ate at Tusker House for lunch and it was delicious as well.

Crystal Palace is very good as well. They have a really good made-to-order omelet station. The characters are really cute too.

IMO, I would pick whatever restaurant that was in the park you are going to that day (if any). You can't go wrong with either place. It really saves on travel time to eat in the park you are attending and both are great with pre-rope drop ADR's.
