CP or Tusker breakfast?

I'm torn on which breakfast to keep. I have them both booked before park opening, so I have good times. I just don't think I want to do 2 character. (Have dinners booked at Garden Grill and 1900 Park Fare). I much prefer the characters at TH (not a Pooh fan per say), but the thought of getting into MK before it opens is very appealing! I'd love a photo of the castle without a zillion people walking in the background. :) I have never eaten at either, so I can't speak for the food. So which one would you do?

(btw, I'm sure it'll be suggested that I keep TH breakfast and do CP for lunch/dinner so I can get both character meals. I'm not loving CP's menu, so it's breakfast or nothing. :goodvibes I'll likely replace whichever one I drop with a dinner at Epcot or maybe GFC)

We love the character breakfasts early in the AM, and I like CP better for breakfast than for dinner. I'll answer your question with some questions. Do you really want to be in AK or MK before it opens? Do you have park hoppers? What will you do after AK closes? Is having breakfast with Mickey more important that with Pooh? As for the food, I think these are the better two theme park character breakfasts, although Akershus is my favorite. For me, I always pick MK over anything else.

Thanks for the reply. :goodvibes

We will have parkhoppers, so we can do just about any restaurant. If we did CP, we'd dump TH, probably eat cereal or something for breakfast at our hotel, then do Flame Tree (never ate there either) for lunch. Then we'd either do GFC, Teppan Edo or Nine Dragons for dinner I think. :) We've never done any of those restaurants either- trying to stick to almost all new ADRs this go round, but keeping in mind we'll have our 4 kids with us (at the time, ages 4, 6, 8 and 9). Personally, if I had my way I'd be skipping buffets and character meals altogether, but I know the kids will enjoy them. :goodvibes

CP CP CP CP CP :) lol. I ate at Crystal Palace and then the next day at Tusker and wow, they are totally seperate. CP has a better selection of fruit, they actually have berries, whereas Tusker only had melon. CP has puffed french toast, Tusker has french toast sticks. Both had mickey waffles, Tusker actually had chocolate mickey waffles. The juice at Tusker was very good .. but other than that.. the food was just ehhh. I really enjoyed Crystal Palace, the food is just out of this world .. very yummy and the place is bright and airy and just beautiful. Whereas Tusker can be quite crazy lol.

i've done lunch and breakfast at CP and its' sensational...did it with my then girlfriend now wife and did it two more times after we had our daughter, the first time when she was 8 mos...lots of room the really, really good food- and i'm not a buffet guy....

Wow thats a tough choice!!!! :confused3 I guess it all depends on which is more important to you....seeing mickey, donald, daisy & goofy, or getting a picture in front of the castle early in the morning?? Since you dont have a meal with mickey etc yet, i'd say go to tusker house instead of crystal palace. Both places have great food. Tusker in particular has such a HUGE selection of food. CP does too, but tusker has that yummy juice! :)

Im not much help am I?? Lol! :lmao: Like i said, it all depends on whats more important to you....characters or picture. Personally, pictures wouldnt be enough to draw me in. It doesnt bother me that there are ppl in the background when i take a pic in front of the castle. Lol. i'd go for the characters, location, and food.
