When I made the ressie yesterday (and got exactly what I wanted I might add :cool1: ) I mentioned to the CM that we will be on the Dining Plan. She told me to just remind themm of that fact when we get to podeum. NOW i have read that it is NOT included :confused3 I am really mixed up cause folks are saying that Tip & Tax are excluded as well :confused3

Could someone please help me figure this whole thing out?

I'm assuming the OP is talking about Crystal Palace??
I just called to confirm my dining ressies for October(I'll do it again before we leave)...I asked the CM about this and he said CP IS on the DP...Wouldn't make sense to not have Crystal Palace on the Dining Plan...hmmm..Someone has misunderstood something somewhere... :confused3

Are you talking about Crystal Palace OR Candlelight Processional??

I assumed in this case CP meant Candlelight, because they started taking reservations yesterday.

Ohhhhh.....I seee...makes perfect sense. I hadn't thought about the Candlelight Processional because we aren't going that time of year...I guess when I see "CP" I think Crystal Palace.... :)

Oops Oop Oops  I be stupid sometimes .. kids say all the time  I was too lazy to type out Candlelight Processional.

I read it on the boards here that Dining plan will not cover that meal. Colour me stupid if it is :artist: That is why I want help figuring it out. THEN if it is tax & tip ... in or out? :confused3

Urgh sorry for the confusion. Funny thing is we are also going to Crystal Palace the next night. pooh: :eeyore: :tigger:

When I booked our CP package yesterday I asked if it was included as we are on the dining plan. She said yes it was and they were all 1TS and tax and tip are included...it is just like any other restaurant using the dining plan except you get a reserved seat at the show.

I also asked if the CP was on the diningp plan and was told yeas, and 1TS per person! :goodvibes

The Candlelight Dinner Packages are included on the Dining Plan. When you make the reservation, you still have to provide a credit card as a guarantee, though. If you do not show up and do not cancel your reservation at least 48 hours in advance, your credit card will be charged $10 per person.

This year, the CP Dinner Packages are not "prepaid". Those who plan to pay cash (instead of using Dining Plan credits) will do so at the restaurant. Everyone purchasing the package (no matter how it is paid for) will get their show badge at the restaurant.

The advertised price does not include tax or gratutity. Those paying cash need to know that. However, if you are paying with DP credits, the tax and gratutity is included.

Hope that hlelps clear up some of the confusion.

Best wishes -

Who is the narrator the night you're going? I love Candlelight Processional (sorry I can't spell CP). Haven't decided but I may go solo in December. I LOVE Christmas time at Disney. It's Magical.......

I think The House of the Mouse is the BEST place to begin the Holiday season.
:santa: We were amazed the last time went. Arrived day after your Thanksgiving and POOF when we woke up the next day it was like living in a story book. Our youngest was full of delight!

As for the narrator I am going on the 8th which is one of the TBA speakers -- but heck I don't think anyone can make it a bad experience! Last time we went whoever was scheduled got sick and had no voice so they plugged in Robbie Benson. He was amazing! :goodvibes
Here is a link to the list :
