I am here in FL staying at my sister's house, which is about 30 minutes away from property. I drove over with her today, and feel totally confident about finding my way there tomorrow morning. I was wondering tho, for those who have already checked in, how early is recommended to get there? Pretty much all of the advice I have heard is to try to be there by 7 am, but does that mean I'm hanging out in the hot sun for 2 hours before I get to even start? My sister recommended later, as she did the program about 5 years ago, but I read a thread here yesterday that said they had arrived at 6:45 and there were already 25 people there. My concern is one, of sleep, the later I sleep the happier I am, and two, I have my violin with me, which I could leave at my sister's house, but am I going to be hanging out outside for the majority of the morning?

Anyone's experiences checking in this fall would be most appreciated. Thanks!

I got there at 6:45 on the 11th and there were probably 40 people in front of me. They had us starting at 7:55 though. I've never heard of them actually waiting until 9. I was on the second bus to casting

Thanks for the reply. I set my alarm earlier...and I'm still debating about the violin.
