CP and Tree Lighting on same night??

Is it possible to do the CP dinner pacakge and see the tree lighting at 6? We will only be there for the one night.

If not, and you could only do one, which would it be? We will have a 5 yr/old with us. I think I may be inclined to not take a seat for the CP and just wonder the world.

Anyone think it is possible?

For sure you can do both Tree Lighting and CP by coordinating your show time and perhaps eating after the CP.

HOWEVER (and there's another recent post about children at CP) I don't recommend the CP dinner package and special seating for a 5-year-old.

Enjoy the Tree Lighting which is short and features singers and Disney characters. Then there's a stand-by free seating line for non-reseravtion guests at each CP or you can just stand at the back of the crowd and watch. Often you will be able to hear the music (though maybe not the narration) from as far away as the outdoor tables at America or the benches near the theater.
