CP/ ADR question

We have an ADR for Garden Grill @ 6:00 on 12/10. Do I need to call back and change this to a CP package? And what are we waiting on Disney to do before CP packages can be scheduled? I thought the dates and narrators had been announced....

The narrators were announced yesterday (tentatively) but they are not accepting CDP's yet. You will not be allowed to transfer current ADR's to the CDP. You must arrange the CDP and then cancel your existing ADR.

If you want a CP package, then you will have to call back, cancel your old reservation, and book a CP package. You're waiting for WDW to announce a booking date.

(I have seen posts that say the booking date will be June 23. Sometimes, information gets posted here before it gets announced. But I would not take that date as gospel until Disney announces it)

Yes, you must call back since the table you scheduled at the Garden Grill is not part of the CP packages. They have a specific number of tables set to the side for the CP packages. You must call early and change your regular table to the CP package and guarantee it with a credit card which won't be charged unless you don't show or don't cancel within 48 hours.
