Cozumel Worries

I posted recently that we'll be porting in cozumel on a sunday so our favorite beach club will be closed. Problem is, i can't find a beach club or excursion to a beach that doesn't have those inflatable obstacle courses! Can anyone recommend one that doesn't have those?

When I researched for our 2015 Sunday visit, there was only one "public" beach outfitter open. The others were offered by private DCL excursion only. We ended up spending time in the town shopping and eating. Los Cinco Soles and Panchos Backyard were both great. It ended up raining, so we did not go to Paradise Beach like we planned. It hosts "locals get in free" on Sundays, too. So we assumed with our ship in port, most stores closed and it being a free Sunday that the place would be packed.
