Which shore exc do you recommend w/ an 8 yr old boy in Cozumel ?

We have a 7 year old boy. We did the Cozumel Ruins and Beach Tour. DH and I got to see Mayan Ruins without a 4 hour bus/boat ride with a child. Matthew got to play in the sand, swim in the pool, and enjoy swinging at a Pinata. Oh and I got to do a little shopping at the ruins and the beach (Playa Sol)

Do you, by chance, have a picture of the beach/pool area? Do you do the tour first and then go to the beach area? How long is the tour? Did your child find the tour interesting?

I have pictures, but alas I still have not figured out how to make a website. The beach is beautiful, Playa Sol is a gorgeous resort. Lots of games for the kids and lots of umbrellas on the beach to sit under.

The tour at the ruins was interesting enough to keep him from become too bored. You move from place to place looking at different items. You go to the ruins first and then to the beach. I want to say that Michelles post about the excursion gives you the approx times for travel. I think it was 20 minutes to the ruins and about 35 minutes from the ruins to the beach and then 2o minutes from the beach to the ship (You make a big loop around the island). Our tour guide was very good at keeping us entertained while the bus was in motion.
