Has Anyone done the cozumel dune buggy snorkel excursion. It mentioned a guide in the passporter book. Do we drive the dune buggy? Is it an automatic if we do? Also is the snorkling on our own, I am guessing its in shallow water or we can go out as far as we wish? Any information anyone has would be great !! Thanks:confused3

We have done this excursion twice. We loved it. The dune buggies are stick shift. So you have to know how to drive one. The first thing you do is go snorkeling. It is a guided snorkeling tour. You follow your guide around and he points out things to you. When we went this past Jan, our guide gave my boys 5 and 8 a boogie board, so they laid on top of that and were able to snorkel right along with us. They loved it. They they go to a place and show you some Mayan ruins and then you go to a secluded beach where they make lunch and just hang out on the beach for a while. The lunch is great and the beach is beautiful. This is our favorite excursion. You will have a blast.

Thanks! sounds really great, but neither of us drive a stick, i had heard they pair you up in fours in each buggy, so is there a chance theycould put us with two people who can drive a stick?
