Coxsackie? (HFMD)

I have it and I'm 19! I'm just getting better now.. I've been sick for almost a week. I cought it from my little cousins. I can say that yes, as someone said, it certainly is painful for adults. Ahhh, this will teach me that when a 2 year old asks if you want to share her lollipop, the answer is "no"!

In light of the way it's spread, I'm GLAD that it's not ONLY spread by the fecal-oral route or I've gotta wonder where that's child's lollipop was!!

It was definately a clean lollipop!! I opened it for her myself... kind of asking for it I suppose.

Well, I just wanted to update you all. DH and I both have it now!!! DH has the red dots with fever and joint pain. I have the soars in my throat, mouth and joint pain. This really stinks!! I had to cancel the party and I just want to crawl in bed but I can't b/c I have to take care of the kids. No one wants to come and help b/c they don't want to catch it. My mom said she'll come over to put a "red X" on the door so people know to stay away!!!LOL But she's not coming near us!
Anyway, thanks for all the advice. Now I'm just waiting to see when DS will get it.
