Cowntdown Calenders...Crafts...DIY?

This may be posted elsewhere, but I was wondering on what ideas everyone has and what they do for each day leading up to there trip.

I bought a pack of Mickey scrapbook paper and made a countdown chain. I just used a ruler to cut the paper into straight sections (roughly 10.75x1.25 inches- it was 12" scrapbook paper, and I used the width of the ruler, so it was a bit more than an inch wide). We started taking off a link every day at the end of May. I googled a website to tell me how many days there were so I didn't have to count them all. We're at 31 days today! One month exactly!
