I’ve not done the tea party but we did do the character lunch. If I’m totally honest, we didn’t really enjoy the experience. It’s counter service so you choose from a set menu and then find a seat. When we went, it was very busy, some of the choices on the menu were not available as they were sold out and we struggled to find a seat although we did eventually.
I found it to be a very dark and dingy place and it was a real scrum to try to see any of the characters. They didn’t come round the tables but did walk, run up and down but you had to fight your way past people to see/met them and just as DD was about to get her photo taken with Minnie she was pushed out the way by other kids. She did eventually manage to get her photo taken but it did put a dampener on it.
The food did not look up to much but did taste ok but I think for the money we paid I would rather go back to Café Mickey were we had a much more enjoyable experience.
We might have just been unfortunate with our timing, as I have heard some good reports on it.
