Covid testing children

Travelling from the UK next month Do children under 17 have to have a covid test 3 days into the holiday I cannot see anywhere that you need to show proof or is it just a recommendation ?

The U.S. rule:
As of 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, CDC will no longer require air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight.

There is no standard rule requiring anyone to test 3 days after arrival into the U.S. Depending on where you are going, there may be testing or vaccination requirements, but I think most tourist areas of the US have dropped those as well. Certain businesses may require masks and/or proof of vaccine. Going a cruise requires testing but not flying or other transportation.

There are no present requirements coming to the USA this can change. Not sure about Orlando airport but some airports and some city transportation may require you wear a mask, However although it is required you will see a good split of people who wear a mask and those that do not. The only place I have been where if there is a mask mandate in place that everyone was reminded to wear a mask was in fact Disney. NYC although a lot of rules were made has been a free for all since day 1 with the exception of the short lived restaurant vaccine mandate. But it is best to have a mask and wear one if it says required. I would check the UK official rules shortly before you travel to see if there are any requirements to fly back.

Florida is pretty much a free for all unfortunately. I’d be shocked if you encountered a single place even requiring masks. Some still have signs asking but few listen.
