Covid Relief Offer

I just got off the phone with the Reservations line and I was offered a "Covid relief" rate for a room that, according to the person I spoke with, wasn't eligible for an AP discount. I was able to book the room with the Passholder discount myself, but their offer was still pretty decent I think - roughly 30% as opposed to 40% with AP. I'm not sure if this is actually a thing or if she just made it up, but I figured I'd share.

I booked a Deluxe studio at the Polynesian Villas, 8th-15th August. I had a reservation for CBR on different dates (CBR is currently open), but I was having second thoughts and wanted to change it. I found a room at Poly for $344 with AP (full price was a little short of $600), but the person I spoke with said the AP discount wasn't available for that room/resort. She then said that she could offer a Covid relief discount for $370-$380, sorry I don't recall exactly. I ended up booking the room myself since it was a little cheaper with AP.
