Cover for Nook Color??

DH bought me a Nook Color for Mother's Day. I have been to Barnes and Noble to look for a cover....nothing I love. I know I am picky. I am very worried about it falling out. I would like to allow my DD who is 7 to use the nook to read but, am worried about it slipping out. I found a linke to a website where you can design your own cases and it looks nice. I keep my Nook in a Thirty-One Fold n go organizer. It has a pocket that has velcro closure, and a half pocket with elastic-this is where I keep the cord and the middle which has 2 pieces of elastic to hold it in with a little 'pouch' at the bottom that keeps it from sliding out. I can't give you a link to my website--but you could google it. I like it and have sold several for this purpose!

I was wondering if the fold and go would fit the color ok. I am having a party in 2 weeks and was thinking about getting one.

OP I have one that is to small (hubby got it and its for the regular nook so it doesnt fit great) but I love the melrose pattern on bn's site but I dont like the price. You can also check out ebay... that have some cute ones on there. Whatever you buy make sure it says it is good for the nook color.

I forgot one of the things that the "Nook Man" told DH was to be careful of magnets on the case.....I forgot to check that out. I guess they can ruin the screen???? Not sure becuase quite afew of the cases sold at Barned adn Noble for the Nook and Nook color have magnet clasps??

I gave my DW a Nook Color for Christmas and I got this cover along with it:

It's light yet sturdy and the Nook fits in there very solidly. Not really any way for it to slip out. And the elastic straps keep the cover securely closed. I believe it comes in other colors, too, of green's not your thing.

Regarding magnets and LCD screens - the screen won't be harmed by a magnet, especially a tiny little magnet in a case/cover. Magnets do not affect LCD screens like they do CRT screens.

It is on their website for about 45, but I got it in the store for 30, regular price (actually DD21 bought it for me for Mom's day). It's green and closes with a strap. It can be folded over to use as a stand. I think they had other colors. Feels like decent quality.

I found a wonderful case on Amazon. The case has double memory foam and a front pocket for the cable. I love it!!

You can search Amazon for the Barnes & Noble NOOKcolor eBook Reader CaseCrown Double Memory Foam Slim Sleeve with Pocket. I'm not especially in love with the outside design but it's exactly what I want to protect my NookColor.
