Thats not a good thing.....I hate when things change... makes no sense to me at all
I can't imagine they needed to make a formal announcement for this. They'll stop you from bringing back the beer token next, then the popcorn buckets, finally the drink of the day glass.
You essentially get the refill price with the cup quantity. Similar to the beer token.I did not know you could bring back "drink of the day glass". How much would that save a person per future drink?
Thanks,
Kate
My barista (Dream) gave me a card our last morning to carry over for next cruise. This was last Friday.
Let's hope my barista is right and yours was misinformedThat was the exact same day we disembarked from the Magic.

You could call/contact DCL and explain what happened, maybe they'll give you a free coffee?Yes, but doesn't help me recover my lost free coffee.![]()
Off topic, but speaking of the cove, did you see the Cold Brew Tower in the Cove on the Magic?
This is baloney. Not everyone drinks a cup of coffee a day. Even if you did, you couldn't use it on a 3-5 night.Just an update to this one, we just got off the Magic last week, they accepted our full Cove card from our previous sailing, but told us going forward that there would be no carry over from cruise to cruise. The punch card is per cruise only and the new card states this on it.
Sounds like a "contact us" is in order. This is baloney. Not everyone drinks a cup of coffee a day. Even if you did, you couldn't use it on a 3-5 night.
I've found using the "contact us" on the DCL website often produces more correct information. This sounds likes it's maybe a ship-specific thing? Which is just ridiculous! DH and I usually split a card with my mom on the cruise (we've always done 7-day sailings) and we still just barely get it filled between the 3 of us! I have to contact DCL tomorrow (too late to call tonight) and would be happy to ask what the deal is, although we know how reliable the info given out can be![]()
