Cove Bar/Trader Sams

I've been hearing some conflicting reports on whether children are allowed at Trader SAMs or Cove Bar. I really want to try some yummy drinks at Trader SAMs and Lobster nachos at Cove bar but I've avoided both of these places as we always travel with the kiddos. If anyone knows thanks in advance!

I believe kids are allowed in Trader Sam's until 8pm. The Cove Bar does not have any restrictions with age or a time they need to leave by. We go to The Cove Bar often with our 5 year old.

Kids are allowed at Traders up until 8 pm. From what I've read it's very family friendly.
From all of the Cove photos I've seen none of them have kids in them.

We have been at Cove Bar middday for the Lobster Nachos ( which are amazing btw) and have seen families there once or twice. I just think it's more common for adult only groups to frequent them for whatever reason hence why the lack of photos. Some may assume it's not kid friendly since it's called Cove BAR. Or maybe other places are more their speed

And yeah Trader Sams allows kids until 8pm as previously stated.

I've been to Cove Bar and Trader Sam's with my kids.

Cove Bar isn't all that bar-like IMO. It's just the outside upstairs patio for Ariel's. There's a bar but it's not like walking into a regular bar.

Trader Sam's is a little more bar-like, but they also have an outdoor seating area (which is where we ate with the kids, although they were allowed inside during the day). Since it's right at the DLH hotel pool, you can even get something to go (a cocktail or food) and take it to a table at the pool if you want. We did that more than once.

I've never taken my kids to Trader Sam's but I have taken them to the Cove Bar. Or maybe it would be better to say that DBF and I have gone to the CB for Lobster Nachos (amazing) and drinks while they rode things like the Wheel of Death, the Silly Symphony Swings, Goofy's Sky School and Screamin' and then they meet us there and have a soda or water while we finish up. Then we move on, and yes, they eat as well, they just aren't fans of the lobster nachos.

We saw kids dining there last week. We tried to go there with our 4 kids for some lobster nachos on Tuesday last week. We got there at 7:45 with the idea that we'd grab dinner before catching WOC. To my dismay, they closed at 7:15. I thought a bar closing at 7:15 was odd. No lobster nachos for me.
