On Thursday we were slow getting moving an slept in a bit. My girls were total troopers about getting moving in the morning. We did breakfast in the room every morning with cereal and bagels. One morning we did room service and that was wonderful. We split two meals and that was plenty.
We hit DL about 9AM. We found that even when we got behind on our start we were still able to pick up lots of rides in the morning. Things did not bog down until 1 or 2 and even then, nothing was more than 45 minutes. If something had a longer wait, the fastpass times were typically only a few hours out so we would grab a pass and hit something else first. When we started the week I was determined that we should always be collecting fastpasses when the next window opened. As the week progressed, that was not as necessary and we just rode what was in the area.
We had Blue Bayou reservations at 11:40. Our table was split 8 and 8. GodD and her Bo were eating later that night at BB on their own. The meal was wonderful but even more, the service was amazing!! I felt very pampered and attended to.

We were in the second tier from the water view. Much better placement than I have had with other large parties. I had read about the potatoes, but didn't think much about it.....they were delicious! The kids did great. I think the novelty of the place kept them entertained for a longer meal.
We had originally planned on doing the early entry and then leaving after lunch for a break but our late start had us ready to go after lunch. We hit lots of rides that afternoon and swung over to CA to pick up some things we had missed.
We walked back to the hotel and DH ran for some Quiznos for the gang. We ate in the room and watched the fireworks. I decided I really do prefer to be in the park for the fireworks. Even with the music on the TV, it just does not inspire the same emotion as being on Main Street.
